A Must-Try Brunch Spot in Kuta, Bali
Crumb & Coaster
This place has been on my Bali wishlist since my very first trip, and I finally got to experience it for a delightful breakfast/brunch.
While Balinese food is certainly delicious, sometimes the sweetness and similar flavors can become a bit much, right? After a few days, you might find yourself craving something different.

Looking at their hours, they're open incredibly long! Opening bright and early, it's a fantastic alternative to your hotel breakfast, offering a fresh start to your day.
Tucked away in a narrow alley, often frequented by locals, you'll suddenly stumble upon this incredibly hip spot. It almost feels out of place, but honestly, that's part of its charm!

The place was already buzzing with international visitors, many of whom seemed to be from Australia, which isn't uncommon in Bali.
Even inside, Australian travelers appeared to be the most common demographic.
Crumb & Coaster Menu Highlights

First things first, an Iced Americano was a must. We also ordered a refreshing drink packed with chia seeds, strawberries, and various herbs. It was absolutely delicious, and the portion size was genuinely shocking – so generous!

Since we were there for breakfast, we tried to keep it relatively light (or so we thought!). My husband ordered an omelet, and I went for a vibrant smoothie bowl.
The bread served with the omelet was fantastic, but what really stole the show was the feta cheese-based spread. It was incredibly tasty, and I'm still curious how they make it!
And just look at the smoothie bowl I ordered – isn't it beautiful?!
As someone who loves salads and fruits, this was absolutely my kind of meal. It tasted healthy and delicious. While Hawaii's acai bowls might have a slight edge, I really wish we had more places like this back home!

Crumb & Coaster Kuta: Final Verdict
If you're looking for an alternative to traditional Balinese cuisine, Crumb & Coaster offers a fantastic option. After a few days of sweet and sometimes oily Indonesian dishes, I found myself craving something fresh and light, and this place delivered!
It gets quite busy, so you might experience a bit of a wait depending on when you visit. Early mornings tend to be less crowded, but as lunchtime approaches, it fills up quickly, and a line can form.
Its convenient location in Kuta, easily accessible from the Seminyak area too, makes it a great choice.
I highly recommend giving it a try!
