Here’s a fantastic perk: guests of Karma Kandara Spa get complimentary access to the private Karma Beach, located right below the spa! This exclusive beach typically has an entrance fee of around ~$38 per person, but as a spa guest, you can enjoy it for free. It’s a truly secluded spot, known to be a honeymoon destination for celebrities, meaning it’s never overcrowded and offers a wonderfully private escape. We unfortunately couldn't make it due to our tight schedule, but if you go, make sure to take advantage of Karma Beach!

My Experience: Cliffside Views & Soothing Ocean Waves

After confirming my reservation at the reception, I was greeted with a refreshing welcome drink and some fresh watermelon before my massage began. While enjoying the welcome drink, I filled out a form to specify my preferred massage pressure and areas of focus, and I was pleased to find that my requests were perfectly incorporated into the treatment.

I was then escorted to my treatment room, which was designed in a beautiful individual bungalow style. The entrance alone was breathtaking! Though it featured a two-person bed, I had requested a private room and was able to fully enjoy the experience alone.

The wooden interior and canopy decor created a cozy, bedroom-like ambiance, making it incredibly relaxing. With expansive windows directly overlooking the ocean, it felt almost like receiving a massage outdoors.

They even placed beautiful flowers under the headrest, which added another layer of healing to the experience. I’m a sucker for these thoughtful details!

The massage itself felt like the therapist truly understood muscle anatomy. My back and trapezius muscles are always tight, and they were so expertly released that I felt incredibly refreshed afterward. I usually prefer a medium pressure, and it was perfectly applied – effective yet never painful.

Considering both the ambiance and the quality of the massage, Karma Kandara Spa stands out as my number one choice among all the spas I visited in Bali.

The lingering sound of the singing bowls after the massage was incredibly soothing, and I tried hard not to fall asleep, wanting to savor every moment of the ocean waves.

After the massage, I was offered tea and a dessert, a perfect end to a perfect experience.

I booked the "Balinese Massage 90 minutes." Here’s a breakdown of the cost for two people:
