For my Bali trip, I wanted a place that truly felt like a tropical getaway, so I visited the InterContinental Bali Resort Jimbaran!

Located right on Jimbaran Beach, famous for its breathtaking sunsets, this luxurious resort offers a spacious garden, luxurious rooms, and ocean-view pools. It was the perfect place for a private, relaxing getaway 🌊

Best of all, this time I stayed in a Club Room, so I'll be sharing the Club Lounge benefits, along with a full tour of the rooms, pools, and other facilities! 💚

1. InterContinental Bali Resort Jimbaran

The InterContinental Bali Resort boasts beautifully landscaped tropical gardens between its buildings.

Even just strolling through the resort, you'll find palm trees, vibrant flowers, and Balinese-style architecture harmoniously blended, creating countless picturesque spots perfect for photos!

Conveniently located in Jimbaran, it's just a 20-minute drive from the airport, making it close to your arrival point.

One of the biggest charms of this resort is that it's situated right on Jimbaran Beach, allowing you to truly immerse yourself in Bali's unique, relaxed beach atmosphere!

Jimbaran is especially known for its stunning sunsets, so from late afternoon onwards, you can enjoy dining or swimming while watching the magnificent sunset 🌅

3. Hotel Exterior/Interior

Upon arriving at the InterContinental Bali Resort, you're immediately greeted by a harmonious blend of sprawling gardens and buildings, instantly putting you in a relaxed, vacation mood!

The entire resort exudes a serene atmosphere, making you feel like your happy travel mode has begun from the moment you step in to check-in 🥹

Since I stayed in a **Club Room**, I didn't have to wait and could enjoy a **private check-in at the Club Lounge**. It was incredibly convenient!

While waiting for check-in, I savored a glass of **wine** as a **welcome drink**. It was such a delightful treat right upon arrival 💚

4. Room Condition

Premium Club Lounge Access Garden View

The room I stayed in was a **Premium Club Lounge Access Garden View**, the most basic room type among the Club Rooms, and I was assigned room **6222**!

As soon as I entered the room, what struck me was how incredibly **spacious and luxurious it felt**.

Thanks to the **wood interior** that exuded traditional Balinese charm and the **calm color palette**, the entire room had a warm and comfortable atmosphere!

When traveling to Bali, you usually pack a lot of things like swimsuits and dresses, but with such a spacious room, **it was so much easier to spread out all my belongings!**

Our room was a **Garden View type**, so we could see the resort's lush garden from the balcony.

Being able to enjoy a cup of tea while gazing at the verdant view was incredibly therapeutic. I'd highly recommend a garden view room for anyone seeking some true healing!

There was also a **spacious sofa** and a **table**, perfect for enjoying a casual drink and some cozy chats at night!

The table was adorned with **welcome fruits**, a delicious **cake**, and various **bite-sized treats**, offering a delightful indulgence whenever I craved something sweet 🍩

(I was even touched by the adorable postcard with my reservation name written on it!)

Below the **TV**, there was also a **mini-fridge**, stocked with various beverages!

It was great to find **capsule coffee**, **tea bags**, and even a variety of **snacks** ready for enjoyment!

Before heading into the bathroom, there was a spacious **dressing room**, which was perfect for laying out swimming gear or opening up a large suitcase!

The bathroom felt spacious and luxurious,

and having a bathtub meant it was wonderful

for a relaxing soak to end the day after all our adventures!

Beyond just shampoo, conditioner, and body wash,

most everything you could need was already provided,

so you really don't need to pack much yourself!

5. Club Lounge Benefits

The biggest advantage of our Club Room

was that Club Lounge access was included!

In the tranquil atmosphere of the Club Lounge,

we could enjoy Afternoon Tea or Evening Cocktails for free,

as much as we wanted, which was fantastic!

(I'm someone who absolutely loves sweet treats and cocktails!)

There's even a private pool exclusively for Club Room guests,

so if you're planning a longer stay within the resort,

it's definitely better to choose a room with Club Lounge access!

A private pool, afternoon tea trays,

unlimited drinks, and cocktails – truly generous benefits! 👍🏻

6. Breakfast

If you stay in a Club Room,

you can enjoy breakfast at the Club Lounge!

While the buffet selection might be smaller than the main breakfast area,

it's much less crowded,

and you can order more exquisite dishes directly from the menu.

Don't be surprised if the breakfast buffet seems a bit limited –

just order what you like directly from the menu!

Since we stayed for two days, we utilized the main breakfast area on one of them.

It was much more spacious than the Club Lounge,

but also significantly more crowded!

​

However, compared to the Club Lounge buffet,

this one offers a much wider variety of food!

If you're staying at the resort for two days,

it would be great to experience both locations.

7. Facilities

The Intercontinental Bali Resort

boasts an impressive total of six swimming pools!

From the main pool to more tranquil ones,

there's a variety to choose from, perfect for swimming and relaxing all day long.

From restaurants right by the pool

to the Sunset Beach Restaurant

where you can watch the sunset over the ocean!

They also feature spa and fitness facilities,

plus bike rentals and various activity programs.
