Bali Electronic Customs Declaration & Health Pass: Your 2026 Online Application Guide

For your Bali trip, there are a total of three essential documents you'll need to prepare online for immigration.
If you've already applied for your electronic Visa on Arrival (e-VOA), your next crucial step is completing the electronic Customs Declaration (e-CD). This must be done online, and importantly, you can only apply for the customs declaration starting two days before your Bali arrival date, not three. I'll walk you through how to complete both the customs declaration and the health pass using the official All Indonesia site, all in one go. It's even possible to register your entire family or travel companions at once, making it incredibly convenient.

Bali Electronic Customs Declaration

Traditionally, customs declaration forms were handed out on planes before landing, and you'd fill them out manually.

Bali sees so many travelers that they've introduced an online pre-application system. While you can complete it upon arrival at the airport, doing it beforehand will save you precious time.
If you've already secured your Bali electronic Visa, filling out the customs declaration will be even simpler. Just follow these steps.
What You'll Need Before You Start Your Bali e-CD

You'll only need two things:
It's pretty straightforward, much like filling out a traditional paper customs form.
How to Complete Your Electronic Customs Declaration

✅ First, navigate to the official All Indonesia site linked above. Take your time and follow along; it's quite simple.
You can select your preferred language from the 'Languages' section at the top. While Korean is an option, for this guide, we'll assume English is selected.

✅ Select 'Foreign Visitor'.

✅ For your mobile phone number, you can enter it in a standard format, for example, 1012345678 (this is a placeholder, use your actual number).
✅ Enter your full name in English, for instance, 'Hong Gildong' (using your actual name).
✅ Your date of birth should be entered in Day/Month/Year format, as specified by the form (e.g., 05/08/1990 for August 5th, 1990).
✅ If you're traveling with family, children, parents, or other companions, simply click the 'Add Traveler' button and input their details similarly.
✅ You can use the same email address for all travelers if you wish.

✅ A small detail that stumped me for a bit: what was labeled as 'Male' (남성) on the All Indonesia electronic customs declaration form actually refers to the **Passport Number**. Took some digging to figure that out!

✅ I found it incredibly convenient that I could apply for myself and one companion (a total of two travelers) all at once.
📌 Important Note: When applying for the electronic Visa on Arrival (e-VOA) before entering Bali, you still need to apply for each individual traveler separately.

✅ The Bali electronic customs declaration is available for application starting **two days before your arrival date**. I initially saw some information suggesting a 72-hour window, but when I tried to apply, say, on August 3rd, 2026, for an August 6th, 2026 arrival, it didn't work. I had to try again on August 4th, 2026 (two days before arrival) for it to go through.

Let's pick up from the 'Travel Details' section.
✅ Enter your arrival and departure dates. If you've received your electronic visa, select 'YES' and locate your e-VOA number on the PDF you received. This will be listed under 'VISA NO.' ✅ Do the same for any companions before proceeding to the next step.

✅ For your travel purpose, if you're flying to Bali, you can fill this out exactly as shown in the image above, just ensure you enter your specific airline flight number and your accommodation name.

✅ Once you've entered the same details for your companions, you'll have completed Step 3 (Transportation and Address) and can move on to the 'Declaration' section.

✅ This is the Bali Health Declaration (Health Pass) section. Simply check the boxes that apply to your health status. If you've stayed in any locations within 21 days prior to entering Indonesia, make sure to list them. ✅ Also, indicate if you have any items subject to quarantine.

✅ Enter the total number of luggage pieces, including those of your companions. ✅ Check whether you have any customs-declarable items or electronic devices that need to be declared.

✅ Input the Captcha code and click 'Verify'.

✅ Immediately, your Bali Electronic Customs Declaration QR code will be generated. You can take a screenshot of this on your phone, or...

✅ Once your application is complete, you'll receive a confirmation email like this one. The QR code will also be available in the email, so you can easily save a screenshot from there too.
Your Essential QR Code

Finally, you'll need to present this generated QR code before exiting the arrivals hall at Bali Airport.

After clearing immigration, at the final gate, I simply showed my QR code as pictured above. It was scanned, and I was good to go!
📌 Pro Tip: If you don't have your QR code, you'll have to apply again at the airport, which can cause delays! So, make sure to save it on your phone or print it out.
Important Tips & Reminders

✅ You can only complete the form starting two days before your Bali arrival.
✅ One person can declare for the entire family or travel party. However, unlike visa applications, the electronic customs declaration cannot be modified once submitted.
✅ Double-check all your information to avoid errors. If you make a mistake, you'll need to submit a new application.
✅ Always save a screenshot of your QR code on your phone.
