Bali Airport Pickup Review 2026: Family Travel & Discounts
Arriving in Bali with family? Learn why a pre-booked airport pickup is key for a smooth, stress-free start to your 2026 vacation, especially with luggage!
If you're planning a family trip, you'll love this Bali airport pick-up service! Here's my review and how to get coupon discounts.

When I'm planning a travel itinerary, the very first thing I sort out
is how to get from the airport to our accommodation!
At first, I thought we could just hail a Grab,
but once I saw Bali Airport...
I realized booking an airport pick-up was one of the best decisions we made!
Today, I'll be sharing my experience with the Bali airport pick-up service I used,
including prices and travel times!

Our Pick-up Experience |
1. Why We Chose a Pre-booked Pick-up Over Grab

Since it was our family's first time in Bali,
we really didn't want to get lost or stressed right from the airport!
After going through immigration and picking up all our luggage,
I knew we'd be more tired than expected,
and since it was a family trip with my mom,
we had quite a few suitcases!
At first, I considered using Grab or Gojek,
but a friend who'd been there before
strongly recommended, "If it's a family trip, definitely book an airport pick-up in advance!"
So, that's what we did!

And it turned out to be incredibly satisfying!
In July, during peak season, Bali Airport was incredibly crowded...
and we were already completely exhausted after buying our visas on arrival.
As soon as we exited the airport,
our driver was right there,
holding a sign with my name on it,
and he immediately guided us to the car,
allowing us to get to our accommodation without any hassle on our very first day!
2. How Long Does It Take from Bali Airport to Sanur Accommodation?

Our first accommodation was the Andaz Bali in Sanur!
I knew it would take about 30-40 minutes from the airport to Andaz Bali,
but since it was during 'rush hour' (?),
it ended up taking almost an hour.
Bali traffic can be quite heavy depending on the time of day,
so if you're traveling during rush hour or evening,
make sure to plan your next activities with plenty of buffer time.

Because our driver was already waiting for us,
we could depart immediately upon arrival,
making the journey much smoother than we'd anticipated!
If you're visiting a new destination
and want to save time at the airport,
booking a pick-up is a must... especially for a family trip!

If your goal is to go straight from the airport to your accommodation,
like mine, MyRealTrip was a better fit.
But if you plan to start sightseeing right after landing
or head to a shopping center, Klook also
seems like a good option!

However, from July 1st to July 7th,
MyRealTrip is offering a summer special where you can book it
for as low as ~$24!

4. Ride Review

Once you book, you can communicate with your driver
via WhatsApp the day before pickup!
Since they knew my flight number,
it was so convenient because I didn't need to explain anything extra,
even if there was a boarding delay or a change in arrival time.

They also loaded my luggage themselves,
and the car was clean, so I could relax comfortably
during the journey!!
Above all, being able to get straight into an air-conditioned car
after a long flight
was much more satisfying than I expected. Haha.
+FYI, I didn't have any cash,
so I couldn't tip, but the driver didn't seem upset at all.

Honestly, before booking,
I wondered, 'It's not a dangerous city, do I really need a pickup?'
But,
after using it myself,
it was incredibly, incredibly convenient... So from now on,
I'll try to book pickups for airport-to-accommodation transfers whenever possible.

Especially if you're traveling with your parents like me,
or on a family trip, booking a pickup
is great for your mental well-being!
You can book for other areas like Ubud and Canggu, not just Sanur,
so be sure to check based on your accommodation :)
Busan Station Luggage Storage Location & Prices | Jim Carry Difference & Unattended Locker Review

Recently, I tried using the luggage storage lockers at Busan Station
for the first time in Busan!
It was the last day of my trip, and I had an evening train,
but with a carry-on suitcase and a backpack,
it would have been difficult to carry everything around.
Initially, I tried to use a service that would send my luggage
from my Seomyeon accommodation to Busan Station,
but the date I wanted to book was already fully booked... T_T
In the end, I took my luggage directly to Busan Station
and deposited it in an unattended luggage locker.
I'll explain the difference between Busan Station luggage storage and Jim Carry,
and even break down the price I actually paid.

Unattended Luggage Locker Prices & My Personal Review |

Just so you know!
The luggage I deposited was one carry-on suitcase
and one backpack.
I thought I might have to store them separately since there were two items,
but they both fit perfectly into one large locker. Haha.
Busan Station Luggage Storage VS Jim Carry: The Difference

What I initially planned to use
was Jim Carry's accommodation delivery service!
Jim Carry operates a staffed storage service where you can drop off your luggage directly at their Busan Station store,
but you can also use their same-day delivery service,
which transports your luggage from your accommodation to Busan Station.
It's also possible to leave your luggage at your Seomyeon accommodation
and pick it up at Busan Station.
However, it must be an accommodation where you are actually staying,
and you need to check in advance
if it's an eligible accommodation and date for booking.

Since bookings for desired dates can be fully booked, like what happened to me,
it's best to book/confirm in advance once your travel itinerary is set!
On the other hand, for Busan Station's unattended luggage lockers,
you have to bring your luggage to Busan Station yourself,
but you can find an empty locker and use it immediately without a reservation.
Category | Self-Service Lockers | Zimcarry Store Storage | Zimcarry Delivery |
How to Use | Deposit and retrieve yourself | Drop off directly at the store | Delivery from your accommodation to Busan Station |
Reservation | No separate reservation needed | Walk-in service | Advance reservation required |
Pricing Standard | Per locker compartment, per hour | Per item, per day | Per item, per delivery |
Pros | Affordable price | Staff handles storage | No need to carry your luggage |
Cons | Must transport luggage to Busan Station yourself | Need to check operating hours | Higher cost, reservations can fill up quickly |
Zimcarry Storage and Delivery Prices

For S-size luggage, which corresponds to carry-on suitcases,
one-day storage was ~$4, and delivery was ~$9.
For bags with a longest side of 45cm or less,
storage is ~$2, and delivery is ~$9.
If you're like me, with one carry-on suitcase
and one backpack to store,
here's how it breaks down:
How to Use | Estimated Cost |
Zimcarry Manned Storage | Suitcase ~$4+ Backpack ~$2= ~$6 |
Zimcarry Accommodation Delivery | Suitcase ~$9+ Backpack ~$9=~$18 |
Self-Service Locker (Large) | Actual cost ~$3 |
Zimcarry storage cannot be reserved,
but for Zimcarry accommodation delivery, make sure to
book in advance on the website below!

While Zimcarry charges per item,
self-service lockers charge per compartment,
so if your suitcase and bag fit together, it's much cheaper!!
However, the biggest advantage of Zimcarry delivery is that you don't have to drag your luggage from your accommodation to Busan Station yourself.
Busan Station Self-Service Lockers: Location and How to Use

Inside Busan Station, you'll find self-service lockers
from various companies.
I used the lockers located to the left of Artbox on the first floor,
and since the prices are pretty much the same across providers,
you can just use whichever is available!

Using them is super easy too!
Just check for an empty locker number,
select that number on the kiosk,
pay with your card, and you're all set!

There's a great variety of sizes available, from small lockers for bags
to extra-large compartments that can fit suitcases 20 inches or larger,
so you can choose the perfect fit for your belongings.

One Important Thing to Note Here!

Once you've paid for a locker,
the storage service ends the moment you open the door
to retrieve your belongings!

It's not possible to just open it briefly to grab one item
and then close it again.
If you want to reuse it, you'll have to pay the basic fee
all over again.
So, make sure to take out anything you might need during the day,
like your phone, wallet, or power bank,
before you store your luggage, and only open the locker once when you're ready to pick up your bags!
Busan Station Self-Service Locker Prices

The sizes ranged from small, suitable for a tiny bag,
to extra-large, perfect for suitcases 20 inches or more.
They had a diverse range to choose from!
I used the large locker for about 5 hours and 38 minutes,
with a base fee of ~$1 and an additional fee of ~$1,
paying a total of ~$3.
I've captured the bag retrieval process in a video,
so if you're using it for the first time, please take a look! :)
My Takeaway

After using the luggage storage myself, I found that for short-term storage,
the Busan Station self-service lockers are affordable
and super easy to use, which made me really happy!
On the other hand, if you find it difficult to carry your bags
from your accommodation to Busan Station yourself,
using JimCarry delivery would be much more convenient :)
If you have a lot of time left on your last day of your Busan trip
before your evening train,
go ahead and drop off your bags, lighten your load, and explore!
