My 11-night trip to Bali

Including everything from flights and accommodation to tours,

cost about ~$1,280 per person.

Here’s a detailed breakdown of how much I spent

and the exact itinerary I followed

to help you plan your own getaway.

3. Detailed Bali Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Bali

Departing from Cheongju

Arrived at Ngurah Rai International Airport at 11:15 PM.

After weighing my energy levels and safety, I decided to spend the first night at the Novotel hotel, which is directly connected to the airport.

It takes just a 5-minute walk to get there, so the location is absolutely unbeatable.

The room was clean and comfortable—perfect for a quick half-day stay to recharge.

Days 2, 3, & 4: Ubud Adventures

We took a pre-booked taxi to head over to Ubud.

We compared airport pickup options and intercity transfers, and since the airport pickup option was cheaper, we booked that.

Usually, you have to walk about 5 minutes to the pickup point, but our sweet driver came right to the front of the hotel, making the transfer so much easier!

Even if you do have to walk to the designated pickup spot, it's only a 5-minute stroll, so it's not a hassle at all.

If you're moving from Novotel to Ubud, I highly recommend booking an airport pickup service.

If you want to experience private, cozy Ubud vibes on a budget,

you should definitely check this place out.

While it doesn’t have that ultra-luxury resort feel,

each room is a detached villa, making it incredibly peaceful.

With very few guests around,

it was the perfect place to unwind in absolute tranquility.

🍽️ Warung Gauri

A fantastic spot for Nasi Campur, a traditional Balinese dish.

The value was insane—two of us ate until we were stuffed for just around ~$8!

🥩 Mokgumeong Ubud (Korean BBQ)

It's located right in front of Romance Nail,

so it was the perfect place to pop into right after getting my nails done.

For some reason, it tasted even better than back home, haha.

💅 Romance Nail

A nail salon in Ubud famous for being incredibly budget-friendly.

Booking is absolutely essential, but

they aren't the best at sticking strictly to reservation times,

so I ended up waiting for about 30 minutes....

The prices are seriously cheap.

Two nail art sessions and one pedicure came to about ~$45.

If I had to recommend just one single activity for your Bali itinerary,

I would choose the Mt. Batur Jeep Tour without hesitation.

Waking up in the middle of the night was tough,

but it was so worth it—hands down one of my favorite experiences,

and a truly unique adventure you can only have in Bali.

☕ Pison Ubud

The truffle steak exceeded all my expectations,

and the lush green rice paddy views were absolutely gorgeous,

making it the perfect spot to slow down and enjoy a leisurely meal.

🥥 Tukies Coconut Ice Cream

It was so delicious that I ended up going back twice during my trip.

The coconut ice cream served with real, fresh coconut

was a flavor combination I'd never tried before,

but that fresh coconut meat was an absolute game-changer.

🧘 Intuitive Flow Yoga

I visited as a walk-in without a reservation.

The class was easy enough for beginners to follow,

and the yoga mats were clean and well-maintained,

making it a wonderful, refreshing session.

💆 De Gumi Ubud Massage

I visited the massage shop run by my accommodation,

Matahari Lumbung.

The facilities were clean, and the pressure was perfectly relaxing.

🍜 Korean Food Delivery

In the evening, I ordered Korean food through Grab.

It was surprisingly tasty,

so I highly recommend it if you start craving comfort food on your trip!

Day 5 of My Bali Getaway

🚗 Ubud → Kintamani

We took a pre-booked taxi.

The road leading to the accommodation is quite rough and bumpy,

so I highly recommend booking in advance with a driver who knows the area.

It cost about ~$64, which included our ride to Canggu the next day.

Hands down, the most memorable accommodation of this trip.

We had a cozy barbecue at the camp for dinner,

relaxed over breakfast the next morning,

and then made our way to Canggu.

Days 6, 7, & 8 of My Bali Getaway

This was our home base for 3 nights in Canggu.

Since it's a brand-new hotel with almost no reviews from Korean travelers,

I was a bit skeptical when booking,

but the rooms were incredibly clean,

and we had a completely comfortable and seamless 3-night stay.

🥐 Sensorium

The brunch spot I was most excited about in Canggu.

It had a fusion vibe, and literally every single dish we ordered was delicious.

🍚 Warung Sika

The absolute number one spot for Nasi Campur!

There's always a queue here during lunch and dinner hours.

With super affordable prices,

it's the perfect place to grab a hearty, filling meal.

🌅 La Brisa

If you're in Canggu, visiting a beach club is an absolute must.

Instead of chasing the ultra-hyped spots, I chose a place where I could just relax and watch the sunset.

I debated reserving a prime beachfront spot,

but since there was a minimum spend, I decided to just walk in instead.

And honestly? The seat we got was still pretty great.

🍖 Ding Ding Hot Pot

It's a hot pot spot, and reservations are a must!

We went without booking ahead and ended up in the outdoor seating area...

It was incredibly hot, but so delicious that we just kept eating through the sweat;;

While it's a bit pricey compared to local standards,

the service was excellent and the flavor was spot on.

If you need a break from Indonesian food

and love hot pot, this place is definitely worth a visit.

☕ Gigi Susu

Gigi Susu is a staple on the Korean traveler trail.

I had high expectations, but it was just okay for me...

The croissants weren't quite my style.

But the drinks and the acai bowl were great.

🇰🇷 Seoul Soul Project

We stopped by here when we started craving Korean food during the trip.

The Google reviews were amazing, so I was really excited...

It wasn't bad, but overall, the flavors were just a bit too heavy and salty for me.

Days 9, 10, and 11 of our Bali Adventure

This is the hotel where we spent three nights in Sanur.

It's close to the airport,

and making it to the harbor was incredibly easy—which is why we chose it.

As it turned out, Sanur ended up being

our absolute favorite area of the entire trip.

Though it's a bit tucked away from the main bustling streets,

the quiet, peaceful vibe made it the perfect place to truly unwind.

Out of our entire Bali itinerary,

this was easily the most exhausting yet most unforgettable day.

Battling seasickness wasn't easy,

but the moment we saw those giant manta rays gliding right in front of us,

all the struggle instantly melted away.

If you love snorkeling and being in the water,

this is a bucket-list tour you absolutely must do.

🏖️ Sanur Beach

The beach you inevitably find yourself strolling along when in Sanur.

With its incredibly laid-back and quiet atmosphere,

just taking a walk here felt like instant therapy.

🍨 Massimo Gelato

The most famous gelato spot in Sanur.

They have an amazing variety of flavors, and the prices are super affordable.

Just a heads-up: expect a bit of a line, but it moves fast!

🛍️ Icon Bali

A brand-new shopping mall in Sanur.

Skip the scorching midday heat outside and head here

to get your food, coffee, and shopping fix all in one air-conditioned spot!

🍖 Naughty Nuri's Warung

Bali's legendary pork rib joint.

It was just as hearty, messy, and delicious as we had hoped for!

☕ SERIES COFFEE

A lovely cafe to take a break and recharge over a cup of coffee.

It has a super hip, modern vibe.

The coffee is great, but their salt bread is to die for!

🍜 Bakso Balung Pak Rebo

We trusted the Google Maps rating and went,

and it was packed with locals.

The prices were incredibly cheap, making it perfect for a budget-friendly meal.

The flavor is exactly like Korean short rib soup (Galbitang) — pure comfort food.

🧘 KOA SHALA

A yoga class I dropped by at the very end of my trip.

It was the perfect way to reset both my body and mind

and wrap up my Bali adventure on a beautiful note.

I highly recommend booking the massage + yoga package!

Bali has such a diverse vibe depending on where you go—

you can immerse yourself in nature in Ubud,

explore trendy cafes and amazing food in Canggu,

and soak up some slow, relaxing times in Sanur.
