Comparing the 4 Distinct Stays at AYANA Resort Bali

Bali remains one of the world's most coveted destinations, especially for couples, honeymooners, and families looking for a tropical escape. In the heart of Jimbaran, AYANA Resort Bali stands out as a massive, legendary estate that almost everyone considers when booking a trip to the Island of the Gods.
With 14 jaw-dropping swimming pools, private beaches, and over 17 dining venues and wellness programs, the estate is a self-contained paradise. If you prefer to maximize your resort time rather than spending hours in Bali's infamous traffic, this is absolutely the place for you.
While we crammed a ton of activities into a short stay, we highly recommend booking consecutive nights to truly unwind and experience everything at a leisurely pace.
The massive AYANA estate is divided into four distinct properties, each catering to a different budget, style, and travel vibe:
1. RIMBA by AYANA
2. AYANA Segara
3. AYANA Resort
4. AYANA Villas (Private Luxury Villas)
Each option offers a unique experience and price point. Let's break down the differences so you can choose the perfect base for your 2026 Bali getaway.

- The Vibe: Modern, vibrant, and budget-friendly (without compromising on room size or luxury).
- Perks: Full access to all AYANA estate facilities (excluding the exclusive Rock Bar Round Deck).
- Dining highlight: Home to "To'ge," the highly-rated, forest-surrounded breakfast buffet restaurant.
- Highlights: Features the gorgeous RIMBA Pool Bar, perfect for sipping cocktails right in the water.

During our stay, we booked the "Resort View (Garden View) Twin Bed Room". It was incredibly spacious for two people, featuring a modern bathroom and a beautiful private balcony overlooking the lush greenery.

Depending on your travel style and budget, we highly recommend either AYANA Segara or the ultra-exclusive AYANA Villas for the ultimate romantic getaway.
If you want to splurge on a once-in-a-lifetime experience with absolute privacy, go for the Villas. If you want a modern, quiet, and chic luxury experience without going completely over budget, AYANA Segara is the perfect sweet spot.
During our visit, we noticed many honeymooners opted for Segara. It has a noticeably calmer, more sophisticated, and peaceful atmosphere compared to the main family-friendly areas.

AYANA Villas offers standalone, ocean-front private pool villas designed for ultimate seclusion and top-tier luxury service.

Villa guests get exclusive access to the highly coveted Rock Bar Round Deck, the absolute best seat in the house for sunset views. Other resort guests still receive priority reservations for the general Rock Bar seating, which is a massive perk on its own!
If you're curious about other fantastic photo spots around the estate, make sure to check out our RIMBA review post.
- Location: Steps away from the iconic Main Pool, Main Lobby, and dedicated Kids Pool.
- For the Little Ones: Close to the AYANA Ocean Adventure, a fantastic kids' play zone featuring indoor, outdoor, and water activities.
- Why Families Love It: Having kids' facilities and dining options within easy walking distance makes it incredibly convenient for parents.

Personally, I opted for RIMBA by AYANA to get the absolute best value. Even though you are paying a fraction of the price of the villas, you still get to access all of AYANA's spectacular resort amenities (except the exclusive Rock Bar Round Deck).
Here is a quick look at how we compared rates for the same room type and dates to secure the best deal:

Yes, guests staying at RIMBA by AYANA can use all the facilities at AYANA Resort. However, access to the Rock Bar Round Deck, which is exclusive to AYANA Villas guests, is restricted.
For families, we recommend AYANA Resort, which is close to the main pool and the kids' pool. Next to the main pool is AYANA Ocean Adventure, a dedicated children's play area for indoor and outdoor water activities, making it a great place to stay with kids.
If you want a quiet atmosphere while enjoying other activities in Bali, we recommend AYANA Segara. On the other hand, if you want to focus on a private getaway in a standalone pool villa with an ocean view, choosing AYANA Villas is highly recommended.
Both the To'ge breakfast buffet and RIMBA Pool Bar, where you can enjoy drinks inside the pool, are located in the RIMBA by AYANA building. RIMBA by AYANA offers great value for money, making it an ideal accommodation for friends or couples.
