Getting to AURASOL
AURASOL is conveniently located just a 3-minute walk from BTS Chong Nonsi Station.
Head towards Exit 2 or 5, and you'll find a covered walkway that connects directly to the Sathon Thani Building.
The spa is situated on the 11th floor of Sathorn Nakhon Tower. This building complex has two towers, which can be a bit confusing at first! Make sure you go to the tower *opposite* the one with Subway and Amazon Coffee.
I'd been to this area before when visiting the King Power Mahanakhon Skywalk. If you have some extra time, I highly recommend checking out the observation deck for incredible city views!

Inside AURASOL
Stepping out on the 11th floor, I was immediately greeted by a friendly staff member in a softly lit, serene atmosphere. AURASOL is quite well-known among Bangkok spas and is so highly regarded that reservations are often fully booked. It's a popular spot not only for international tourists but also for Bangkok locals!
The staff's English proficiency was excellent, making communication effortless. While waiting briefly, I took a moment to look around and noticed a beautiful display of the various teas they use.
Look up, and you'll see a ceiling adorned with twinkling stars. The photo doesn't quite capture its beauty, but it's truly a sight to behold in person.
AURASOL Menu
Let's take a look at the menu and prices. The course I chose was the 'Deep Sleep Warm Oil' massage for 120 minutes, located at the top left of the menu.
Massages at 5-star hotel-level spas often prioritize relaxation and comfort over intense deep tissue work. While you can certainly request stronger pressure, you might find the pressure softer than what you'd experience at a typical local shop.
AURASOL offers various packages, including signature ultimate and relaxing options, each tailored to different areas and preferences.
To book, you'd typically call directly, but let's be honest, navigating a phone call in Thai can be daunting, even if they speak English!
The good news is you can easily book through Klook, and it's often more affordable than booking on-site.

After changing into slippers, I was offered a cup of tea before the massage began. It wasn't overly hot and had a subtly sweet flavor – I practically downed it in one go! It was perfectly to my taste.
At a high-end spa, even choosing your oil is part of the luxurious experience. I had four delightful options: Lanna Relax, Siam Riviera, Jasmine Scented Water, and Andaman Sea. I'm not particularly sensitive to scents, so I didn't distinguish them in great detail, but I ultimately chose SIAM RIVIERA as it appealed to me most.
As I was led to the massage room, I couldn't help but be impressed. The interior design was on a completely different level compared to the local massage shops I'd visited before. If you were to receive a spa treatment with facilities like this back home, I imagine it would easily cost upwards of ~$207!
The shower room was impeccably clean, and the tranquil ambiance allowed me to shed all the stress and fatigue accumulated from my travels.
There were several moments during the 120-minute session that truly impressed me. After changing into disposable underwear and donning a robe, I rang a small bell, and my therapist entered. She meticulously covered me with a large towel before I lay down, ensuring I felt completely comfortable and respected. It was clear that every small detail was carefully considered.
The therapist was incredibly attentive, adjusting the lighting and room temperature to perfection, even regulating the air conditioning throughout the session. She seemed to instinctively know my preferences without me even having to ask, expertly controlling every aspect of the environment.
Having always opted for cheaper local shops at around 300-350 THB an hour, I finally understood why people invest in a more expensive spa experience. Before I knew it, two hours had simply melted away!
She even asked if it was okay to touch my scalp, being mindful of my hair! From head to toe, I received exceptional care. Of course, she also periodically checked if I was comfortable or if the pressure was adequate, creating an atmosphere where I felt at ease to request anything I needed.
Beyond the oil massage I received, AURASOL offers a variety of treatments, including traditional Thai massage, aromatherapy, body scrubs, and facials.
