Asakusa View Hotel Tokyo Review 2026: Skytree Views & Great Value
Dreaming of a Tokyo hotel with iconic Skytree views without breaking the bank? The Asakusa View Hotel delivers on location, comfort, and unforgettable panoramas.

During my Tokyo adventures, I always dreamed of staying at a hotel with a dazzling view of either Tokyo Tower or
a Skytree-facing room. But, let's be real, those usually come with a hefty price tag or
a not-so-ideal location.
Today, I'm thrilled to share my review of the Asakusa View Hotel,
a rare gem that ticks both the 'amazing value' and 'perfect location' boxes!
01. Location

It’s ideally situated just a 2-minute stroll from Asakusa Station on the Tsukuba Express line,
with famous attractions like Senso-ji Temple and the magnificent Skytree practically on its doorstep.
Plus, there's a super convenient airport limousine bus that takes you directly from Narita Airport
to the hotel's front door – talk about a smooth start or finish to your trip!

02. Skytree View Room Price

Before we dive into the nitty-gritty details below, let me give you a quick peek at the room's layout and
what wonderful amenities await you.
I snagged a Skytree View Standard Double Room, and at a comfortable 20㎡, it felt so much more
spacious and inviting than your average business hotel.

Whether you're lounging in the chair or relaxing in bed, you're treated to a completely unobstructed view of the Skytree.
And trust me, seeing it bathed in its glorious green light during the nightly illumination is pure magic!
Here's a crucial tip: when booking, make absolutely sure to choose a room designated as "Skytree Side," not "City Side,"
to ensure you get that breathtaking Skytree view!

To be honest, it rained relentlessly during my entire two-day stay, so
I barely caught a glimpse of the Skytree during the day or evening.
My only solace was the magnificent sight during its nightly illumination ㅠㅠ
Feeling utterly disappointed, I scoured Google reviews for photos of the
Skytree view at sunset and during the day... and wow, they are just stunning ❤️

Oh, how I wished to wake up to a Skytree view like this!
It just goes to show, good weather truly makes all the difference on any trip 🥲

You'll find a spacious desk and a refrigerator conveniently located in the hallway.
The desk was perfectly sized for getting some laptop work done.

The bathroom was fully equipped with all the essential amenities and fresh towels.
It was sparkling clean, and the water pressure was wonderfully strong – a definite win!

03. Detailed Room Review

To give you a detailed review starting from the check-in process,
true to its 4-star rating, the lobby was incredibly spacious,
and all the staff were exceptionally friendly.

They would greet us with a 90-degree bow every time we entered the building,
making us feel truly valued and welcomed.
Check-in was also smooth thanks to a staff member who spoke excellent English.

With a long corridor stretching from the entrance to the bedroom,
we could easily spread out our suitcases in the hallway,
making it super convenient to move around freely.

The TV was quite large (though it only showed public channels, haha!),
and the pajamas were wonderfully cozy.

Additionally, 2 bottles of mineral water, tea, a hairdryer,
a refrigerator, slippers, and a safe were also provided.

Combs, cotton pads, cotton swabs, body towels, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and other
basic amenities were all stocked in the bathroom.
04. Hotel Facilities

Upon check-in, you can access the
dedicated hotel website via a QR code.
Here, you can view the location of facilities, breakfast crowdedness,
and even check airport limousine bus timetables and make reservations.

Since Klook offered a better price, I booked separately,
checked the timetable, and took the limousine bus to the airport.
Being able to board right in front of the hotel was incredibly convenient!

In addition, there's a swimming pool (for a fee) and
a breakfast restaurant with Skytree views.
Overall, Asakusa View Hotel offers
a fantastic location, superb room conditions, and incredible Skytree views,
making it a highly satisfying stay.
Highly recommended for those who want to enjoy Skytree views
at a reasonable price!
