Asakusa Gyukatsu Motomura has both a main branch and a secondary branch. The one I visited and highly recommend is the secondary branch.

The **Asakusa Gyukatsu Motomura branch location** is super convenient. It's right near an Asakusa Station exit!

Both the main and branch locations open at 11:00 AM!

I once visited the main branch on a weekday right at opening, and the line was already incredibly long. I heard that if the main branch line is too long, you should head to the secondary branch. It seems fewer people know about it, so the wait was much shorter.

Excluding reservation holders, I only waited about 30 minutes before being seated! While the **branch is smaller inside compared to the main store, it offers single seats, making it perfect for solo diners!**

Asakusa Gyukatsu Motomura Branch Review

I ordered the **Gyukatsu Set with 130g** of meat. When it first arrived, I thought the portion looked small, but it turned out to be quite substantial once I started eating! It's definitely enough for one person.

I think it's because there are plenty of side dishes, rice, and vegetables! You can even get one refill of soup and vegetables.

The thickness and doneness of the gyukatsu were just right, which I really appreciated. It was tender and melted in my mouth. I totally understood why this place is famous and people are willing to wait!

And, of course, the personal grill is key for gyukatsu! As a top-rated gyukatsu spot in Tokyo's Asakusa, the grill's heat was perfect, allowing me to cook each piece to my liking.

What really stood out was the incredible kindness of the staff. When I left, they even bowed 90 degrees as I took the elevator! It was such a thoughtful gesture, especially considering how busy they were.

On a side note, it seemed like there might have been a Korean-speaking staff member as well!
