Ariyasomvilla Bangkok
An Honest Review of Breakfast, Spa, Pool, and Room Conditions
Words/Photos by @Jjaem
Discover a serene resort escape right in the heart of Bangkok's city center,
an antique private haven.
Let me introduce you to Ariyasomvilla Bangkok.
The breakfast here is absolutely delicious (truly exceptional),
and the boutique atmosphere is so captivating, you'll wonder if you're still in Bangkok.
This is a place I wholeheartedly recommend to anyone visiting Bangkok!
Here's my honest review of Ariyasomvilla Bangkok.
1. Ariyasomvilla Bangkok: Essential Information

Ariyasomvilla is a 24-room boutique hotel, a beautiful conversion of a traditional Thai wooden mansion dating back to the 1940s.
With its original wooden floors, Thai silk curtains, swimming pool,
and high ceilings still intact,
it feels like stepping into a timeless estate, even though you're in the bustling heart of Bangkok.
It's also renowned for its vegetarian-focused restaurant, offering not just breakfast but also delightful lunch and dinner options.

2. Ariyasomvilla Bangkok: Pricing
The Studio Standard Room, which is perfect for two guests,
is quite spacious at approximately 366-388 sq ft!
Rates start from around ~$117 per night!
The largest room is the Executive Suite, measuring 753-807 sq ft,
and can be booked for a minimum of ~$207 per night.
(*Based on a search on 08/13/2026 for a 10/06/2026 check-in date)
While not the most budget-friendly hotel in Bangkok,
considering the included breakfast option and the
exquisite quality of the hotel,
I believe the price is quite reasonable.

3. Ariyasomvilla Bangkok: Breakfast

For breakfast, you can choose to sit indoors or outdoors, and the
restaurant space itself is simply stunning.
You order from a menu at your table, and dishes are brought to you one by one,
like a delightful course meal.

There's a rich lineup of traditional Thai dishes, and while the focus is vegetarian,
there are also seafood and fish options, so everyone can find something to enjoy.
Personally, the homemade jams served with bread were absolutely, incredibly
delicious!
I was disappointed I couldn't purchase them separately, as Ariyasom makes them in-house.
4. Ariyasomvilla Bangkok: Spa

For spa treatments, you'll need to make a reservation in advance at the front desk or via Agoda chat!
The spa treatments are conducted on an outdoor wooden deck, allowing you to breathe in the scent of wood and listen to bird songs or the sound of rain.
It truly felt like receiving a massage in the heart of nature.

The thoughtful details, like a welcome drink before starting
and warm tea afterward, were also a lovely touch!
Honestly, the massage skills might not be exceptionally outstanding,
but the ambiance and overall vibe are so wonderful that it's definitely worth experiencing at least once :)
5. Ariyasomvilla Bangkok: Pool

The outdoor pool is free to use and offers a private atmosphere, surrounded by lush greenery.
Though it's a cozy size,
you can truly soak in the feeling of being at a foreign resort,
and since there are only 24 rooms,
you get to enjoy the pool in the exclusive privacy
that only a boutique resort can offer.
6. Ariyasomvilla Bangkok: Room Condition
I stayed in a Deluxe Double Room!
I was traveling solo, but the room was incredibly spacious for one person.
It would be absolutely perfect for two.

The room is spacious with high ceilings, and the vintage furniture creates an antique ambiance.
It almost feels like stepping into a medieval European setting from an old storybook.
There's a certain warmth, I'd say, emanating from the aged furniture.
Seeing is believing! Check out the overall room atmosphere in this video 🔻

The bathroom is also incredibly beautiful, with its unique pebble floor and open design, making it perfect for photos.
I personally love this antique aesthetic, and I even took pictures of various parts of the bathroom, hoping to incorporate similar elements into my own bathroom design someday!
Some reviews mentioned bugs, but perhaps because I kept the windows closed, I didn't see a single one!
And typical of Bangkok, the air conditioning was practically a freezer, so I had a very comfortable stay.
The amazing breakfast and antique atmosphere alone make this a hotel I'd return to on my next trip to Bangkok.
If you're looking for something special beyond the usual modern hotels in Bangkok, I highly recommend it 🩷
