Ana Mandara Cam Ranh
This was our ultimate splurge for our Nha Trang trip.
It's definitely on the pricier side for Vietnam accommodations,
but hey, isn't this exactly why we work so hard?

Check-out: 12:00 PM
✔️ Room Type
2-Bedroom Pool Villa
✔️ Price
~$445
(Includes breakfast and afternoon tea for 3 people)
✔️ Pre-booked Services

The Lobby
From the moment you step into the lobby, you're greeted by Ana Mandara's lush, eco-friendly design.
Even though it's an open-air space without AC, it didn't feel hot at all.
Upon arrival, we were seated to complete our check-in right where we were.
While enjoying a refreshing welcome drink and yogurt,
the staff explained the resort's facilities and a few ground rules.

The most important rule to note about Ana Mandara Cam Ranh is:
Outside food delivery is strictly prohibited!
Not being able to order GrabFood to the lobby was honestly
the biggest drawback of our stay.

Most Nha Trang pool villas are located in the Cam Ranh area near the airport.
Since it's quite far from the city center where all the famous restaurants are, travelers usually rely on delivery apps.
But since that's not an option here...
Especially if you're only staying for one night, traveling all the way downtown
is a massive waste of precious vacation time.
Your main options are:
1. Order room service or eat at the resort restaurants
2. Bring takeout from the city when you arrive
I had read some mixed reviews about the resort food online,
and eating it for lunch, dinner, and breakfast seemed a bit repetitive.
So, we actually packed some instant noodles, easy-prep meals, and snacks from home.
Surprisingly, everything hit the spot!
(Tip: There are no microwaves in the rooms, so we brought a small travel kettle.)
Keep in mind that this isn't just an Ana Mandara thing; most pool villas in Nha Trang
don't have microwaves, so plan accordingly if you're bringing food.
Room Condition
Ana Mandara Cam Ranh offers two main room types:
Hotel Rooms / Pool Villas
The pool villas are standalone private buildings
exclusively for your group, while the hotel building offers everything
from standard rooms to suites with private plunge pools.

We really wanted that standalone privacy, so we booked a pool villa.
After debating between a 1-bedroom with an extra bed vs. a 2-bedroom,
we decided to go for the 2-bedroom.
(The price difference was only about ~$77.)
2-Bedroom Capacity:
Standard for 4 people.
Maximum 4 adults and 1 child (ages 0-11 stay free).
The rooms are surprisingly spacious, so if you have 3 adults,
a 1-bedroom with an extra bed would probably be perfectly fine too.
*Note: Anyone 12 and older is considered an adult.
Ta-da! ~~
Looking at these photos makes me fall in love with Ana Mandara all over again!
Our villa had 2 shower rooms, 2 pools, and 2 bedrooms.
Just scrolling through these pictures feels like therapy ♥

The living space features a large 6-person dining table,
with a fridge and coffee machine tucked to the side.
Drinks and snacks in the minibar are an extra charge.
(Fun fact: We accidentally broke a plate and had to pay for it at checkout ^^)

The master bedroom is incredibly romantic, perfect for honeymooners.
The second bedroom has a clean, modern layout with twin beds.
The beds? Absolutely heaven—I melted into sleep the second I lay down.
Outlets were standard 220V, and there were plenty of USB ports for easy charging.

Behind each bedroom, there's a massive en-suite with a shower, bathtub, and toilet.
There's also a convenient half-bath located just off the living room.
Both en-suite bathrooms are roughly the same size.
If you're traveling with a group, bathroom wars definitely won't be an issue!

The toiletries are provided in eco-friendly reusable dispensers.
Everything you could possibly need is stocked: a hairdryer, plush robes, plenty of towels, a beach bag, and slippers.
The Private Pool
The absolute highlight of Ana Mandara Cam Ranh,
and the entire reason we booked this place:
Our gorgeous private pool!!

It is unbelievably photogenic!!!
To get those perfect vacation shots, I pre-booked a floating breakfast via email.
reservations@anamandaracamranh.com

Since our room rate already included the buffet breakfast, we just ordered this for the aesthetic.
We chose the most affordable option: a 1-person Vietnamese style spread,
which cost 440,000 VND (~$17).
The villa technically has two pools. I do wish they were connected into one larger pool
so we could really swim around.
Still, the depth was surprisingly good, making it perfect for
floating around on tubes and splashing about.

I mean, look at it—stunning from every angle.
I need to work hard so I can come back here.....
At night, the pool lights up and the vibe becomes incredibly romantic!
It would be an absolute dream for couples.
The Main Pool
Hours: 6:00 AM ~ 8:00 PM
Sunbeds are free for all guests,
but if you want a good spot in the shade, you need to get down there early.

There's a pool bar in the center where you can order food and drinks,
so we ended up spending our entire first day just hanging out here.

We snagged a sunbed closest to the beach.
Just sitting there taking in the ocean view was pure bliss ♥

You can borrow beach towels and goggles,
and they even have an air pump service for your pool floats.

The private beach is equally breathtaking.
The color of the water is just unreal 💙

For dinner, we ordered pizza and beers at the Ana Beach House overlooking the main pool.
It felt like absolute paradise ~~
I'm definitely more of a resort-lounger than an active sightseer. I love Southeast Asia.
Lunch: 11:00 AM ~ 5:00 PM
Dinner: 5:30 PM ~ 10:00 PM
I saw some reviews saying the food was mediocre,
but maybe I was just in a great mood, because everything tasted fantastic to me.
Ana Sand House

We had our afternoon tea and morning breakfast at the Ana Sand House.
Honestly, the food was consistently good.

The breakfast pho, fresh breads, and desserts were all delicious. I also made
my own iced Vietnamese coffee, which totally hit the spot.
The fruit was incredibly fresh, and they had a decent variety of hot foods,
making it a great option if you're traveling with kids.
The Spa & Massage
Let me get straight to the point:
You can skip the massage here.
Out of all the massages we got on this trip,
this was the most disappointing for the price.

I pre-booked it through the same email I used for the floating breakfast
to get a 20% discount, bringing it to 1,080,000 VND (~$42) per person.
While the staff were friendly and the ambiance was lovely, the actual massage technique was lacking.
They use Tibetan singing bowls before and after the massage,
placing them on your body to let the vibrations ring through. It seems to be their signature touch.
But honestly, I wasn't really sure what it was supposed to do... lol.
Final thoughts on our Ana Mandara Cam Ranh stay.
The single biggest downside
was the strict ban on outside food delivery.

Other than that, we were extremely satisfied.
The aesthetic interior and views were exactly as I had imagined. The quiet, serene atmosphere
made it the perfect place for us to unwind in total privacy.

The condition of the 2-bedroom villa was among the best of any resort I've visited.
Even with a maximum capacity of 6 people, having three toilets
is such a rare luxury, and everything was spotlessly clean and comfortable.
Whether you're planning a family vacation, a romantic couples getaway, or a trip with friends,
you are guaranteed to have a wonderful time here.

And the main pool? Flawless.
The way it seamlessly blends into the private beach right in front
creates a stunning view, and the water quality was impeccably maintained.
It might be a bit pricey for a Vietnam resort,
but the experience far exceeded the cost. I highly recommend it if you're looking for a Nha Trang pool villa!
