Amiana Resort Cam Ranh Mud Bath Review & Tips
Discover the ultimate private mud bath experience at Amiana Resort Cam Ranh. Read our honest review, booking tips, and a clever dinner exchange hack!
When you search for mud baths in Nha Trang, Vietnam, most guides will immediately point you toward popular spots like I-Resort or Thap Ba Mud Bath.
While those massive facilities are accessible and impressive in scale, they can get incredibly crowded during peak hours. If you are traveling with family, kids, or elderly parents, the hustle and bustle might take away from the relaxing vibe you are looking for.
That is exactly the dilemma I faced when planning a multi-generational family trip to Nha Trang in February 2026. I wanted something peaceful and rejuvenating for everyone.

Ultimately, we decided to try the private mud bath at our accommodation, Amiana Resort Cam Ranh. It turned out to be the absolute highlight of our trip.
Because the resort offers completely private mud bath pavilions, we didn't have to share our space with strangers. Plus, being able to walk right back to our rooms afterward made it the most seamless, stress-free experience.
If you are trying to decide on the best mud bath experience in Nha Trang, here is my honest review of the Amiana Resort Cam Ranh mud spa, including booking hacks, dinner exchange tips, and what to expect.
Amiana Mud Spa Booking Hacks & Free Dinner Exchange Tip
Our stay at the gorgeous Amiana Resort Cam Ranh was booked under an all-inclusive package that included breakfast and dinner.
Here is a golden tip you absolutely need to know: you can exchange one of your buffet dinner vouchers for a private mud bath session!
Our family took advantage of this perk, allowing us to enjoy the premium spa experience without paying a single extra dollar.

If we hadn't researched this beforehand, we would have just gone to the dinner buffet as usual. I am so glad we swapped it for this unique wellness experience instead.
You can arrange your mud spa booking (and process the dinner voucher swap) at the main reception desk in the lobby. Popular time slots fill up incredibly fast, so I highly recommend booking your slot immediately at check-in.
The spa entrance is conveniently located on the same level as the buffet restaurant, making it very easy to find.

After confirming our reservation, the staff guided us down a beautifully landscaped path to our private spa room. The lush palm trees and manicured gardens made the walk feel like a mini tropical retreat in itself—perfect for photos!
My Honest Review of the Private Mud Bath Experience

The Luxury of a Completely Private Mud Tub
The absolute best part of this experience was the privacy.
Unlike public hot springs in the city center where you share pools with hundreds of tourists, Amiana allocates a private, enclosed pavilion for each booking.

My husband and I had our own private tub, while my in-laws enjoyed theirs separately. It was incredibly relaxing not having to worry about anyone else's gaze.
To be completely honest, as much as I love my in-laws, I wasn't quite ready to share a public bath with them! This private setup kept everyone in their comfort zone.

While the stone tubs look modest in photos, they are actually quite spacious and can easily accommodate two adults comfortably.
Silky Mineral Mud and the Perfect Temperature
I initially expected the mud to be thick and heavy like clay, but it was actually a delightful surprise.
The mud is highly refined, silky, and feels more like a rich, mineral-dense thermal spring water than actual dirt.

As you soak and gently massage the mineral-rich mixture onto your skin, you can feel how incredibly nourishing it is.
The mud is kept at a soothing 108°F (42°C). Within minutes of soaking, you'll start to sweat out toxins, melting away all the travel fatigue built up from your flights. After rinsing off, my skin felt unbelievably smooth and baby-soft. The whole family was raving about it!

Keep an eye on the clock—time flies!
The standard session at Amiana Resort Cam Ranh is 1 hour long, broken down as follows:
Mud Bath Soak: ~30 minutes
Shower & Changing: ~30 minutes
The staff will fill the tub fresh for you and explain the timing. Because the private spa suites are so beautifully designed and photogenic, you'll want to take plenty of photos. Just make sure to move efficiently so you don't have to rush through your shower at the end!
Who is this experience perfect for?
Highly Recommended For:
🌴 Families traveling with kids or elderly parents who value comfort
🌴 Travelers seeking a quiet, clean, and premium spa environment
🌴 Guests staying at Amiana Resort Cam Ranh on an all-inclusive package
🌴 Anyone who wants to combine luxury accommodation, dining, and wellness in one spot
Not Recommended For:
🌴 Travelers looking for massive water parks, slides, and shared thermal pools
🌴 Those who want an unlimited, multi-hour hot spring experience
If you fall into the latter category, public spots like I-Resort might be a better fit for your itinerary.
The private mud bath at Amiana Resort Cam Ranh was easily one of the most memorable highlights of our Nha Trang trip.
While it may not have the massive footprint of the city's public hot springs, the exclusive, serene atmosphere more than makes up for it.
If you are traveling with family and want to avoid the crowds, skip the busy public spots in downtown Nha Trang and opt for this peaceful retreat instead. It is a decision you won't regret!
