My first international trip after having a child was an absolute dream, a truly healing experience in Nha Trang that completely captivated me. Among the many options, Alma Resort stood out as a luxurious choice. I debated whether to splurge, but decided it was worth it since I didn't know when my next trip would be. So, here's my honest, self-funded review of Alma Resort Cam Ranh.

Check-in starts at 2:00 PM. The day was quite warm, which could have been challenging, but the lobby offered plenty of comfortable spots to relax, making the wait pleasant.

Our 3-Bedroom Ocean View Pool Villa

We booked the 3-bedroom ocean view pool villa. With six adults and two children, a three-bedroom villa wasn't just an option—it was a necessity! Having separate rooms meant the adults could enjoy the private pool after the kids were asleep. The living room and kitchen areas were also incredibly spacious, ensuring that our large family group never felt cramped.

Each bedroom comes with its own attached bathroom, complete with a bathtub for easy showering. Plus, there's an additional communal bathroom in the living area, ensuring everyone has plenty of space and privacy.

This room features the largest bed, and there was even enough space next to it to lay down extra bedding for the kids. So convenient!🤭🤭

The biggest reason Alma Resort Cam Ranh is a favorite among Nha Trang resorts is undoubtedly its swimming pools. Imagine this: there are a whopping 12 cascading communal pools!

The largest pool, located closest to the beach, naturally attracted the most people. However, the smaller pools dotted throughout the resort were often less crowded, sometimes feeling like our own private oasis. Each pool has a unique vibe, making it fun to explore and swim in different spots throughout the day.

Poolside Bar Delights

After all that swimming, we built up quite an appetite, so we ordered some delicious bites from the poolside bar. A pizza and a banh mi, paired with some cold beers we brought from our villa—it felt like pure paradise!

Our Villa's Private Pool

Even after enjoying the main pools, the little ones were still eager to splash around! 😂 The water in our private pool was a bit cooler, so the kids mostly enjoyed floating around in their boat.

Later that evening, after the kids were tucked into bed, we stepped out to our private pool. Listening to the sounds of nature and gazing at the stars, it was truly a moment of pure relaxation—a much-needed escape. One of the best parts about Nha Trang is the almost complete absence of mosquitoes, so we could enjoy the outdoors at night without any bothersome bites!

Morning Yoga Class

Alma Resort offers a morning yoga program that you can book in advance at the reception. It costs ~$7 per person. Even though I stumbled out of bed feeling a bit groggy, practicing yoga amidst the natural light streaming through the windows, surrounded by lush green lawns and trees, left me feeling refreshed and accomplished for the morning.
