Why I Chose International Resort Hotel Yurakujo

☑️ Incredible Value for Money
At under ~$64 per night (without breakfast),
the hotel itself is packed with entertainment, dining options, and photo spots...
it's a whole destination on its own!
☑️ Generously Sized Rooms
Japan is notorious for tiny hotel rooms,
but here you can enjoy a spacious room for just ~$38 to ~$51.
☑️ Free Shuttle Service ✨️
With a complimentary shuttle operating regularly,
it’s incredibly easy to visit the airport, Narita Station, Aeon Mall, and Don Quijote,
making it a super convenient base even for Tokyo travelers!
Standard Double Room (Non-Smoking)
Around ~$96 (Including Breakfast for 2)

We checked into Room 1133—a Standard Double Room (Non-Smoking) with breakfast for two included!

The room overlooked a beautiful, scenic view of open fields.
Looking at this view during the day brought so much peace of mind.
After being surrounded by nothing but grey city skyscrapers,
seeing this wide-open green landscape was refreshing... ☆
Did you know that rural countryside views are totally trending lately?
The only downside: you can't see a single thing at night, lol! ㅋㅋㅋ

As you probably know,
Japanese hotel rooms are notoriously cramped.
But just looking at these photos, you can tell this place is incredibly spacious!
It was more than enough space for the two of us.
There were plenty of tables, so we could unpack our bags and still not feel crowded.
Note: The lighting is quite warm and yellow, so you might feel it's a bit dark at night.

The fridge works perfectly, and indoor slippers,
hangers, and an iron are all ready for you.
Pretty much everything else you might need is fully stocked.
I recall there being one 220V outlet in the room,
and one in the bathroom.
If you have a lot of devices to charge,
definitely pack a 110V adapter plug just in case!

There's a 2-tier drawer unit right in front of the bathroom.
Leaving our luggage on top of it helped us keep the room nice and spacious!

The bathroom is also spacious and super clean.
It even has a bathtub!
Since there’s a hot spring nearby, you might not need a foot bath,
but it's a great option for anyone who wants one.

All the essential room amenities
are cutely laid out for you.
I actually brought them back to Korea to use on my bathhouse trips haha.
The hairdryer airflow felt a little weak, though...
I think the one at Yurakujo was decent,
but if you're picky about your hair routine, I recommend bringing your own!

If you want to visit nearby restaurants or convenience stores,
they are all within about a 10-minute walk.
But if you don't even want to walk 10 minutes,
the resort itself has restaurants, a convenience store, and ATMs.
So if you prefer pure convenience,
you can easily take care of everything right inside the resort.

Plus, there are other great facilities like
a kids' zone, a fitness club, and a swimming pool.

The breakfast quality wasn't bad,
but the price difference between room-only and breakfast-included
is about ~$32.
So, going without breakfast is highly recommended.
Though I have to admit, the yakisoba was pretty delicious lol.
I'd suggest grabbing some quick bites from the convenience store
or heading out to eat something else after you check out!

Right next to the resort, just a 2 to 3-minute walk away,
is the Yurakujo hot spring, also known as 'Yuraku Castle'.
Yurakujo is designed like a hot spring theme park,
complete with fountain shows, live performances, restaurants, hot springs,
and various other amenities all in one place.
Since the resort provides free admission tickets
to all staying guests,
we got to enter completely free!💕
They provide towels, yukatas, and all shower amenities
in the public bath area, so you're all set~!

I personally fell in love with the hot springs.
For a price around ~$64,
To think you can enjoy an outdoor hot spring & spa here...
I went there at night,
and the atmosphere under the warm yellow lights was absolutely insane... ~~
The daytime view looks beautiful too,,,
I kind of regret not going earlier, haha.
You seriously need to soak at least twice!!
I believe single entry is the rule.
Next time, I'm planning to arrive around 4 PM, soak, hang out, soak again, and make the absolute most of my stay!
Here's a little secret... there are barely any Korean tourists here!
It's a hidden gem highly popular among Japanese locals and Chinese tourists. And with fewer crowds lately, you know what that means, right?
I highly recommend booking your spot right now...
