Wyndham Anaheim Garden Review 2026: Walk to Disneyland!
Looking for an affordable, family-friendly hotel near Disneyland? The Wyndham Anaheim Garden is a top pick, just a 15-minute walk from the park entrance. Find out why it's perfect!

While getting ready for LA Disneyland,
we decided to stay for one night at a nearby hotel.
We wanted a place within walking distance
and comfortable for our family to stay together,
and the one that caught our eye was
the LA Disneyland Hotel
Wyndham Anaheim.
There weren't many reviews, so we hesitated,
but after staying there ourselves,
we were so satisfied with it as an LA Disneyland accommodation
that we wanted to introduce it today.
How to Book
I booked through Agoda, where I found the lowest price.
It's a platform I always use and trust
because it offers not only the lowest prices
but also free cancellation options.

Reason for Booking Wyndham Anaheim #1:
Distance to LA Disneyland
📍 Wyndham Garden Anaheim
515 W Katella Ave, Anaheim, CA 92802 USA

✔️ Approximately 15 minutes on foot!!
One of the reasons we chose Wyndham Garden Anaheim,
an LA Disneyland Hotel, was
that it's only about a 15-minute walk
to Disneyland.
On the way there, with all the excitement,
we didn't feel like the distance was far,
and even on the way back, though we were tired, it wasn't difficult at all.
However, if you're traveling with young children
or plan to frequently go back and forth to the accommodation,
you might find it a little far.
Reason for Booking Wyndham Anaheim #2:
No Parking Fees

✔️ No Resort Fees
✔️ No Parking Fees
Many hotels in the US
often charge extra for parking,
but at Wyndham Anaheim, an LA Disneyland Hotel,
parking is free,
which made our stay much more convenient.
What's more, as you can see in the picture above,
at the parking lot entrance,
you need to authenticate with your room key
for the gate to open, which means security is quite thorough.
Thanks to this, we could park our car with peace of mind.
After actually visiting, we found there were no parking fees
or resort fees (though they do take a deposit),
making it a truly value-for-money accommodation
for LA Disneyland.
Wyndham Anaheim Room Review

This is the lobby.
My husband received an advance check-in email,
so we checked in online.
After stopping the car at the LA Disneyland Hotel entrance,
we got our room key from the front desk,
and then we could enter the parking lot.
We were assigned a room on the 3rd floor out of 4.

Ta-daaa!
We stayed in a twin room.
The floor was carpeted,
and since the hotel doesn't provide slippers,
I recommend that those who need them bring their own slippers.

The bed mattress was plush and comfortable,
and the bedding was neat and clean,
allowing us to get a good night's sleep.

Inside the room, there was a table,
and a TV, though we didn't really use it.

Plus, there was a microwave and a refrigerator,
which was super handy for warming up food or keeping drinks cool.
The only slight downside was that there wasn't a separate electric kettle.
That was a bit of a bummer,
so I ended up putting water in a microwaveable rice bowl
and zapping it in the microwave to solve the problem!
(Don't mind the environmental hormones.... kidding!)

And here's the bathroom!

I was so happy to see a hose in the shower!
What a welcome sight, right? 😄
The water temperature was perfect, and the water pressure was excellent,
so showering was a breeze.

There were plenty of towels available,
and a hairdryer was also provided.
As for amenities,
you'll find shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and soap.
Just a heads-up: toothbrushes and toothpaste are not provided,
so make sure to pack your own!
Hotel Facilities

The hotel lobby even has a Starbucks,
which was perfect for grabbing a morning coffee.
You could also buy over-the-counter medications like fever reducers here.
(That's super helpful in a pinch!)
On one side of the lobby, there's also a corner selling simple drinks
and snacks.

If you head further inside on the first floor,
you'll find the laundry room.
It's equipped with washing machines and dryers,
and we were able to tackle all our accumulated laundry here in one go.
(Do note, there's a fee for use).
✔️ Laundry detergent is also available for purchase.

The Wyndham Anaheim, an LA Disneyland Hotel,
is a place I truly researched extensively before choosing.
On top of having no separate parking fees or resort fees,
even when walking back from Disneyland,
the surrounding area is bright and safe,

If you're looking for an LA Disneyland hotel,
I highly recommend the Wyndham Garden Anaheim!
