Direct buses operate from major hubs in Seoul (like Gangnam, Sadang, Hapjeong, Seoul Station) and various Gyeonggi Province locations. You can book your shuttle tickets via the link below:
While there's a fee, I highly recommend using the shuttle. After the concert, public transport often stops running, and finding nearby accommodation can be tough. I'm definitely planning on taking the shuttle myself!
One-way shuttle tickets start from ~$19.
Since public transport might be limited after the show, make sure to plan your return journey in advance!

For those driving, simply enter 'Hanwha Resort Seorak Sorano' into your GPS.
Parking operates on a 100% pre-reservation basis (approximately ~$7 per day). Vehicles without a reserved parking pass will be denied entry to the site, so if you're driving, don't miss out on reserving your parking pass on a first-come, first-served basis!

From Sokcho Intercity or Express Bus Terminals, a taxi to the venue will cost approximately ~$7.
2. Artist Lineup
This year, top-tier artists spanning Hip-Hop, K-Pop, and EDM will once again be gracing the stage!
The incredible lineup includes: RAIN, Tiger JK, Yoon Mi-rae, BIBI, Simon Dominic, Lee Young-ji, Jeon So-yeon, Hoshi, Dayoung, Davin, Keijo, and many more!
The atmosphere kicks off with an opening DJ set at 1:00 PM, and as the evening cools down around 5:00 PM, the main artists will take the stage during peak performance hours.
After seeing how much fun the Seoul and Busan Waterbomb events were, I'm genuinely excited to see how amazing Sokcho will be this year!
3. Last Year's Experience (2025)
Waterbomb Seoul and Waterbomb Sokcho definitely offer different vibes!
Sokcho definitely feels much more comfortable and less crowded than Seoul.
With significantly fewer attendees compared to Seoul, it feels about one-tenth as spacious. This means shorter lines (or no lines!) for photo zones, restrooms, food stalls, and merchandise booths, making for a much more pleasant experience. Plus, you can easily rush to the front of the stage to get up close and personal with your favorite artists!
It might be a bit further to travel, but it's totally worth it for the relaxed atmosphere!
So, if you're not a super energetic early-20s attendee, I recommend skipping the early entry at 1:00 PM or 2:00 PM. Instead, aim to arrive around 4:00 PM to 4:30 PM.
The real highlight is always the evening performances and fireworks anyway!
The overall vibe and water gun battles were also a bit different from Seoul. In Sokcho, it's less about intense battles with strangers and more about a relaxed, picnic-like atmosphere enjoyed with friends or partners. 😉
If you're looking for an intense water gun fight, head closer to the water refill stations – that's where the real battles happen! 😂
4. What to Bring
📢 Water Gun
To save yourself the hassle of constant refills, I highly recommend getting a large-capacity water gun!
On-site purchases can be expensive and involve long lines, so it's best to buy yours online in advance!
📢 Protective Gear
Clear waterproof goggles, a cap, etc. These items are essential to maintain your visibility amidst the constant stream of water cannons coming from all directions.
Transparent goggles, in particular, are a lifesaver for protecting your eye makeup – totally worth the investment!
📢 Smartphone Waterproof Pouch
Before you head out, do a quick test at home with a tissue inside your waterproof pouch to ensure it's completely sealed and won't leak!
While there are lockers available, I generally recommend keeping your essentials with you. Locker space can be limited, and you'll often need to access your belongings throughout the event.
📢 What to Wear
Opt for clothing that won't feel heavy when soaking wet!
For footwear, I recommend sandals with ankle straps or Crocs to prevent slipping. Avoid open-toed slippers or flip-flops, as your feet are highly likely to get stepped on while dancing and jumping during the performances. Trust me on this one!
📢 Stay Warm
Bring dry clothes and a beach towel to help maintain your body temperature, especially as evening approaches.
The mountain breeze from Seoraksan can cause temperatures to drop significantly at night, so definitely pack a long-sleeved outer layer for your journey home!
