Vivaldi Park Fun: Viva Plex Mall — The Perfect Indoor Spot for Kids After Ocean World, Plus Bumper Car & Carousel Review!

You know that feeling when you've had an amazing day at Ocean World, but then there's that awkward gap before dinner?

The kids still have energy to burn,

but it's a bit early to head back to the room.

On our recent trip to Hongcheon,

we visited Viva Plex Mall, located in the basement of Vivaldi Park,

after Ocean World and before heading back to our accommodation.

so this time I'll focus solely on what we did at Viva Plex Mall.

What is Vivaldi Park's Viva Plex Mall?

Viva Plex Mall is an indoor entertainment and shopping complex located in the basement of Sonobelle Vivaldi Park.

From arcade games, bumper cars, and a carousel to souvenir shops, sports stores, a mart, and a food court – it's all gathered in one convenient space.

You don't even have to go outside,

making it perfect for rainy days, evenings,

or that in-between time after a water park adventure.

We explored it after check-in, but I think it would be even better to wander around Viva Plex Mall in the evening after a fun-filled day at Ocean World.

Vivaldi Park Bumper Car & Carousel Review

Our accommodation package included tickets for the bumper cars and carousel,

so we just brought the coupons we received.

You can exchange them for tickets at the central ticket booth near the rides in the Viva Plex Mall basement and then hop on!

If your package doesn't include them,

you can purchase tickets on-site.

The kids were having a blast on the bumper cars,

trying to crash into each other! Haha,

even though they weren't the best drivers and bumped all over the place,

they just giggled, finding it incredibly fun.

The carousel also had a beautiful, classic vibe,

making it great for photos.

But honestly, one slight downside was that the ride time was shorter than expected.

The kids were a bit sad, asking, "Oh? Is it over already?"

If you want to ride again,

I recommend checking in advance about additional payment or re-boarding options.

Vivaldi Park Bead Ice Cream

While walking around, we spotted a vending machine,

and it was a bead ice cream vending machine!

The kids were amazed that ice cream could come out of a vending machine and reacted first.

The price was also very reasonable,

making it perfect for a snack.

VIVAPLEX Mall Good & Good Mart

If you pick out some meat, they'll even grill it for you!

Since it's a supermarket, you'll find everything you need to go with your grilled meat,

plus a toy section, souvenirs, and so much more!

Slushies were also ~$3!

It's awesome that Good & Good Mart grills meat for you

and offers simple food options too!

As evening approached, it really started to get bustling with people!

Feeling a bit peckish ourselves, we grabbed some snacks from the mart.

Since it's a supermarket right inside the resort,

we were a little worried it might be pricey,

but it actually wasn't as expensive as we expected!

So, we grabbed our snacks and enjoyed them back at our cozy room.
