Villa Deva Resort & Hotel, Bangkok
Bangkok Hotel Recommendation
To cut to the chase, I was absolutely in love with this place!
I'm writing this because I honestly wish
everyone visiting Bangkok would stay here! 💚💚💚

💚The pool view is insane, the rooms are spacious, and the room condition was top-notch.
Plus,
it's located near Bangkok's upscale neighborhood where the Banyan Tree Hotel is (close to Lumphini Park and Sukhumvit).
It's a low-rise hotel, making it safe and secure, and it's reasonably priced.
Truly the ultimate all-rounder hotel with no flaws!
The check-in time for
Villa Deva Resort Bangkok is 2:00 PM.
The staff walked us to our room and showed us
how to open the door to the pool!
Oh my gosh, it was so beautiful ㅠㅠㅠ
In the pool access rooms,
you can open the door
and step straight into the pool!
It feels like your own private pool villa (even though you share the pool with others...)
The water, drinks, and snacks
in the mini-bar are completely free!

The welcome tea they serve during check-in is also super delicious~~
Villa Deva Resort Bangkok
is extremely generous with water.
They stock up your room with Singha water (a famous Thai brand).
It comes in glass bottles, which feels extra fancy!
(I brought the tangerines myself 🍊)
Seriously, guys, please book the Pool Access Room.
You can swim, dip your toes in,
come back inside to rest in your room,
and then open the door to jump right back in. It's absolute bliss! ~~~
💗💗💗
It is incredibly convenient and just so, so good.
Step outside, and the water is right at your doorstep~ 💦💦
✔️Note: The pool hours at Villa Deva Resort Bangkok are 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM!!!
You'll want to make the most of it right after you check in.
They probably limit the hours to prevent people from
peeking into the rooms at night.
But don't worry, there are thick blackout curtains
to keep your room completely private.
At Villa Deva Resort Bangkok,
the pool is located right in the center of the resort, surrounded by the rooms.

In the middle of the pool, there's a little deck where you can climb up, grab a refreshing sip of water, and just lounge around.
They also have plenty of fluffy beach towels ready for you.
There are sunbeds as well, so you can easily hop out of the water and dry off under the sun.
Inside the Rooms at Villa Deva Resort, Bangkok

Right to the left of the bed, there’s a mirror so you can easily check your outfit.
And just to the left of that photo is the bathroom!
You can easily roll down the privacy blinds to screen off the bathroom. The room itself is actually super spacious!

When I was researching Bangkok hotels this time, a lot of them seemed to have pretty cramped rooms...
But here at Villa Deva Resort, the ceilings are high, the room is incredibly roomy, and even the bathroom is massive!

That little golden box by the bedside is apparently a jewelry holder for your rings.
Knowing I'd be spending most of my time in the water in Bangkok, I barely brought any accessories, so I didn't really get to use it.
Plus, I had a feeling that if I took my rings off, I’d end up forgetting them and heading home without them... haha!

I'm not sure if most Bangkok hotels offer free minibar snacks like the ones in Shanghai do, but...
...Villa Deva Resort had a completely free minibar!
It wasn't mentioned anywhere when I booked, so it was such a delightful surprise.
Before jumping into the pool, I chugged down two cans of Coke to help settle my stomach from all the amazing food I'd been stuffing myself with on this trip! ~~~

There was plenty of coffee, a coffee machine, and various teas, including black tea.
The Pringles and chocolates were definitely the best munchies.
They kept the chocolates in the fridge so they wouldn't melt in the tropical heat.
The coffee provided at Villa Deva Resort Bangkok was from Lavazza.

This is
a shot of some Thai instant noodles I made
on the pool terrace... because after a night of heavy drinking,
I desperately needed some hangover cure but also didn't want to miss out on morning swimming!
There's a convenience store and a cafe just a 5-minute walk away.
Oh my goodness, it was SO delicious!
Thai instant noodles are seriously elite.

The pool water at Villa Deva Resort
isn't heated,
but since the weather in Bangkok is so warm, the water temperature is actually quite cozy.
When you first dip your toes in, you might think, "Oh, is it a bit chilly?"
But after just 5 minutes, you'll realize how warm and perfect it is.
It might feel a little cool on rainy days, but luckily, Bangkok's rain usually clears up super fast, so it wasn't an issue at all.

The hallway leading to the guest rooms looks like this.
The pool-access rooms are located on the first floor. The layout is designed in a square shape, allowing you to walk all the way around.

Right next to the pool at Villa Deva Resort Bangkok, there is a lovely restaurant and bar area where you can have breakfast.
The vibe looked absolutely amazing... but Bangkok is packed with so many incredible bars,
so this high-energy explorer didn't end up visiting the hotel bar! (Whoops!)????
