Twin Room: A 2-Night, 3-Day Stay – Room Condition Review

When I was looking for accommodation in Vancouver,
the most important factor for me was location.
Since my 2-night, 3-day trip was quite short,
I wanted to minimize travel time between places.
Initially, I considered the Hyatt Regency, a popular choice,
but at the time of my booking,
the price was incredibly high, so I had to give up on it.
Instead, after comparing prices, room conditions, and reviews,
I booked the Coast Coal Harbour Hotel by APA
(Coast Coal Harbour Hotel by APA).
It was a room with two beds,
and as soon as I walked in, I was pleased by how spacious it was.
My friend was also completely satisfied during our stay,
so I'll tell you all about the room's condition! 😄

The actual room name I booked was
Coast Two Doubles
1. A Room More Spacious Than Expected
The first thing I said after opening the door and stepping inside was,
"Oh wow, it's spacious!" haha

Even with two beds in the room,
it didn't feel cramped or
stifling at all.
We could easily move around even with two suitcases open,
without any obstruction to our pathways.
If a room is too small, it tends to feel more cramped as time goes on,
but at the Coast Coal Harbour Hotel,
during our 2-night, 3-day stay,
I experienced no discomfort at all because of the room size.

While the interior isn't overly glamorous,
the generous space was a major advantage.
If you're looking for a two-bed room in Vancouver
and room size is an important factor for you,
definitely compare the Coast Two Doubles room type.
Oh, and the beds were comfortable!

2. 15th Floor Room View
My assigned room was on the 15th floor.
Although it was a high floor, it didn't offer an expansive view;
it was a city view with other buildings visible outside the window.
Since my itinerary involved a lot of sightseeing, I didn't mind it much,
and the buildings weren't directly blocking the view to an uncomfortable extent.
If an ocean view or a bustling city view is important to you,
I recommend checking the room type and view beforehand when booking.
Even within the same hotel,
your satisfaction with the stay can vary significantly
depending on which room you choose.
3. Bathroom: Layout with a Bathtub

The bathroom included a sink, toilet, and bathtub.
It's all part of one continuous space.
While the room itself was wonderfully spacious, the bathroom felt a tad on the smaller side – a minor point, perhaps?
The shower is integrated with the bathtub, and honestly, the water pressure was just okay.
It wasn't powerfully invigorating, but it also wasn't so weak that it bothered me during my stay.
If water pressure is a big deal for you, just keep this in mind!

4. Amenities
You'll find very few disposable amenities here.
(They don't even provide complimentary basic water!)

In the bathroom, basic products like shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and body lotion were provided in refillable dispensers.
So while you don't need to pack those specific items, it's definitely more convenient to bring your usual facial cleansers and other personal toiletries.
(Don't forget your toothbrush and toothpaste!)

They do have slippers available for use inside!
There's also a hairdryer.
Beyond that, they don't provide much, so don't just assume the hotel will have everything; make sure to check what you need and pack it yourself.
Facilities
A fitness center, swimming pool, and spa are available, and there's also a restaurant within the accommodation.

I primarily used the fitness center.
For equipment, there are three lower body strength machines, one all-in-one multi-gym machine, cardio machines, and a dumbbell zone.

The pool and spa are located within the fitness area.
I hesitated about bringing a swimsuit and ended up not packing one, but I wish I had! ~~
Stay Review

After staying at the Coast Coal Harbour Hotel for 2 nights and 3 days,
the most satisfying aspect was definitely the room's spaciousness.
Even with two beds inside, it didn't feel cramped.
And the view wasn't of tightly packed buildings but an open city view that felt wonderfully refreshing, offering a beautiful ambiance both by day and by night.
The staff were incredibly friendly, and I loved having comfortable access to the gym!
Since it's a place where you can fully enjoy the pool and spa, it's definitely somewhere I'd highly recommend.
Overall Verdict

If you're looking for accommodation in Vancouver, need a room with two beds, and prioritize room size, I highly recommend the Coast Two Doubles room at the Coast Coal Harbour Hotel.
It was even better than it looked in the photos!
Prices can vary depending on the room type and travel dates, so before booking, you might want to check the rates based on the Coast Two Doubles room where I stayed.
I'd definitely recommend checking out the prices for your itinerary first!
