Looking for an affordable stay in Bangkok? Here is an honest review of Two Three A Homely Hotel near Asok Station, featuring a pool, breakfast, and great value.
In Chiang Mai, we splurged on the best accommodations possible,
but in Bangkok, we went all-in on budget-friendly, high-value spots haha.
Two Three A Homely Hotel · 100 Soi Sukhumvit 23, Khlong Toei Nuea, Watthana, Bangkok 10110 Thailand
And among those,
this hotel near Bangkok's Asok Station,
Two Three A Homely Hotel (with breakfast & pool),
was our very last stay.
Among those,
this hotel near Bangkok's Asok Station,
Two Three A Homely Hotel (breakfast & pool included) was our final stop.
At around ~$96 for a 2-night stay including the pool and breakfast, it felt like an amazing deal!!
1. Room Condition
Just don't expect top-tier luxury service here.
No toothbrushes or toothpaste provided, and staff communication can be a bit lacking.
Rather than expecting impeccable service, it's a great place to just sleep and enjoy a budget-friendly stay!
That said, I was actually quite happy with the breakfast. haha
We got assigned to Room 204, and when we walked in...
The room was super clean and neat! - ★
Yay for twin beds!
Honestly, I don't think we ever turned on the TV lol.
The beds are spaced out a bit.
And make sure to draw those blackout curtains tightly before you sleep! '-'
Decent amount of towels...
Pretty standard~
The amenities didn't look too great,
so we just used our own. And of course, we swapped in our travel shower filter!
After dropping off our bags and hanging out, we came back in the evening to see...
The photo is a bit blurry, but the room looked even prettier at night!
lol
Since we planned to swim on our second day,
we asked about a late checkout.
First they said there'd be a fee, but then they offered to just do it for free.
They were a bit back and forth~
And sure enough, with the late checkout,
they hadn't passed the info to the morning staff,
so we got a call asking why we hadn't checked out while we were literally in the pool ^_^* ;;;
Honestly, "just rolling with the punches" is the ultimate must-pack item for any Bangkok trip.
2. Gym
On the way to the pool, there was a small gym, so I snapped a quick photo.
It had all the essentials, so workout enthusiasts
would definitely find it useful.
3. Breakfast (Day 1)
When we went down for breakfast on our first day,
there was just one server and one chef working.
The tables were still pretty empty.
It seems like a hotel that's quite popular among Korean travelers through word-of-mouth.
They have a system where you order from a menu and they cook it fresh on the spot.
On the first day, everything was made-to-order immediately,
but on the second day, it was set up completely as a buffet!
Depends on the chef's mood that day? ? ㅇ_ㅇ
Just check the boxes here, and they'll bring you whatever you want!
The buffet section is self-serve~~
The interior is clean, and considering the price, the breakfast is absolutely amazing.
Once you hand over your checked sheet, they start cooking right away~
But since there was only one chef, it did take a little while.
While our food was being prepared, we grabbed a few things from the buffet.
The bread and yogurt were just so-so.
The bacon and omelet were seriously, seriously delicious.
We both inhaled them, joking that this place is a total omelet hotspot! lol
Honestly, you can't go wrong with any of their egg dishes.
Totally our style~
The rice porridge was also served, and it was perfectly seasoned, which I loved.
Fried rice! The portion was bigger than expected, but...
You can even choose your choice of meat. So good!
A perfect hearty breakfast setup, don't you think?
Sweet watermelon and fresh fruits~~~
4. Day 2 Breakfast
And for our second day, breakfast was set up like this,
with everything already prepared and laid out.
Maybe they had a tiring day yesterday..? lol
But hey, it meant we could eat quickly, which was great~~
I only tried the orange juice, but it was just a decent, standard taste.
Look over there, there's a cat! How cute.
Toast straight from hell, lol
But it tasted great with some jam and butter spread on top.
5. Swimming Pool at Two Three A Homely
On our second day, we decided to squeeze in a swim before checking out.
Luckily, the sun was shining bright—absolutely perfect weather for a dip!
The water was clean and super clear.
Just a few leaves floating around here and there?
During our trip to Thailand, we were so lucky
to have the entire pool all to ourselves! It was amazing.
For about ~$45 a night, including both the pool and breakfast,
I thought the quality was exceptionally good.
Snapping tons of photos,
And going for a swim...
Seriously, the tiles at the bottom here?
When I put on my goggles and looked down, the pool tiles were absolutely stunning.
It felt like diving into the Little Mermaid's world—
with sparkling, multi-toned blue tiles that kept me mesmerized underwater the whole time.
Haha, just splashing around and having fun~
Just floating away, completely carefree...
I think I barely wore sunscreen during this Thailand trip.
I don't know what I was thinking (actually, I wasn't thinking at all!).
I did some sunbathing while my friend was showering, and I got so tanned in that short time.
When it got too warm and toasty, I'd dive back into the pool,
then come back out to soak up the sun again.
Sigh, I miss it so much already... ^_^
This is what it looks like at night.
But I think daytime is definitely better! haha
A restaurant right in front of the hotel—
we spent our final night here.
Highly recommended!!
They were totally fine with us just ordering a single beer,
and the staff was incredibly friendly!
Since it was so close to our hotel, we could truly relax and enjoy. (Thai beer is seriously the best!)
We paired it with some snacks we bought the day before...
The hotel staff member who gave us a bit of a hard time the day before...
The next day, they were so incredibly nice that we wondered if they had a twin!
They were spreading happy vibes all over the place.
Haha, we headed to the airport laughing our heads off.
I highly recommend the 23 a Homey Hotel near Asok Station, Bangkok (great breakfast and pool)!!
