This time, I found that they've added the 27th-floor breakfast buffet Cielo (씨엘로) and

the 28th-floor photo zone observatory.

I used to go often because of its great location,

but now I can enjoy high-floor views too.

Super, super, super satisfied!

E-Mart is also nearby, and it’s a quick trip from the Express Bus Terminal (고속버스터미널), so

whether you come by bus or by car,

it's a great location for planning your travel itinerary.

It's also perfect for a stroll along Sokcho Beach or Cheongchoho Lake.

For those staying longer, the E-Mart (supermarket) right in front

makes grocery shopping super convenient. (Just 3-4 minutes through the alley!)

The room I stayed in faced Sokcho Beach,

so I could see the sea straight ahead, and Sokcho Port on the left.

Ulsanbawi Rock (울산바위) to Cheongchoho Lake view

Rooms on the opposite side offer views of Cheongchoho Lake and

Ulsanbawi Rock!

The fact that you can see water from any room

is one of the great things about The Hotel Sokcho.

And don't worry, if you use the rooftop or the breakfast buffet,

you can enjoy 360-degree views!

From rooms facing Sokcho Beach,

you can even catch the sunrise if the weather is good.

I even got to see it departing!

I didn't know about it beforehand, what a lucky surprise! 🍀

The room we stayed in was a Deluxe Family Queen.

With two queen-size beds, a mini table, and chairs,

it's perfect for families or friends traveling together.

(Maximum occupancy: 4 people)

Since there are two beds, it would be ideal for families looking for accommodation when traveling with kids.

I think it’s just right for them.

Using Ace Bed (에이스 침대), one of Korea's leading bed brands,

ensures a blissful night's sleep!

I slept like a log, haha.

Room Exterior

When you head to your room after checking in,

you'll find a Safe Clean Zone sticker,

confirming that the room has been thoroughly cleaned.

Room Interior

You can adjust the lighting and room temperature

directly from your bedside.

The TV offered Netflix, YouTube, and regular channels,

all working perfectly. I even ordered a hamburger one night

and watched some dramas and entertainment shows! 😆

(Deliveries are picked up at the lobby!)

A mini-fridge under the sink, bottled water, mugs,

and an electric kettle with coffee/tea bags were also provided.

However, even though there's a kitchen space, the induction cooktop is not available for use.

A microwave, water purifier, and ice maker

are available on the left side of the 1st-floor lobby's information desk

at the Smart Kitchenette (스마트 키친네이트).

Bathroom

It has a clean and modern atmosphere.

Plenty of towels are provided, along with extra toilet paper.

The hairdryer is in the pouch in front of the TV.

I went back after 5 months, and the amenities had changed

to **Elemental Herbology**.

I brought my own travel set, so

I only tried the body wash, but it smelled great and

cleaned well, so I was really happy with it!

The shower water pressure was also great, nice and strong! Haha.

3. Breakfast Buffet & Observatory

My heart was pounding from the moment I stepped into the elevator.

What I was most looking forward to this time was

the **Cielo Breakfast Buffet** and the observatory photo zone!

The menu is diverse (Korean + American breakfast),

and the fact that I can enjoy it

while gazing at views of Sokcho Sea (속초바다) or Ulsanbawi Rock (울산바위)... truly satisfying!!

28th Floor Viewpoint 100 Photo Zone

06:30-22:30

When I briefly came up before, there was only a helicopter landing mark,

but this time, an observation deck and photo zone have been added.

It was so beautiful when I went up around sunset.

Sokcho Eye (속초아이) peeks out between the buildings,

and Sokcho Cruise (속초 크루즈), Cheongchoho Lake (청초호), and the city center come into view all at once.

Doesn't it really feel like a proposal road...?

If they turn on the lights along the path, the atmosphere would be incredible, lol.

📌 Since it's the 28th floor, it can get quite windy, so please be careful!

Both morning and evening views were fantastic :)

It was absolutely fantastic to experience it in a fresh way!

Sokcho Beach (속초해변), Cheongchoho Lake (청초호), E-mart (이마트), and the Express Bus Terminal (고속버스터미널) are

all close by, making it super convenient for exploring on foot.

I highly recommend the family room for family trips with kids.
