For this Mui Ne trip, I chose a resort that's slightly away from the bustling Boke Street,

but offers a super tranquil vibe and incredibly beautiful grounds: The Clay Resort.

The landscaping, the pool, and the beach access were so stunning that it was hard to believe it's only rated a 3-star resort.

The Clay Resort is located slightly away from the heart of the Mui Ne tourist area.

If you're planning to visit local restaurants or massage shops constantly, it might feel a bit far.

However, taking a Grab takes only about 3 to 5 minutes, so it wasn't a hassle at all.

In fact, because it's quieter than the busy center, I could fully relax at the resort and just take a quick Grab ride whenever I wanted to head out. It was perfect!

They serve you a refreshing welcome drink upon arrival.

There was no security deposit required during check-in.

Once check-in is complete, you'll hop on a golf cart to head to your room.

The resort views on the way to the room felt like pure paradise!

Here is the main swimming pool located right by the beach.

The palm trees surrounding the pool against the sunset-lit Mui Ne sky were absolutely gorgeous.

While it's not a true infinity pool, it seamlessly blends into the beach view.

Since The Clay Resort has two swimming pools—a pool-access-only pool and the main beachside pool—

the main pool stayed surprisingly uncrowded and peaceful.

Right next to the main pool, there's also a separate shallow pool for kids to splash around safely.

There's a beautiful resort restaurant right by the beach.

This is where you can enjoy the daily breakfast buffet.

While it's not a strictly private beach, the sandy shore stretches out right in front of the resort.

Just taking a stroll here was enough to instantly boost my mood.

The room I stayed in was the Deluxe Garden View Room.

The Clay Resort offers pool access rooms where you can step straight into the water from your room, but I decided on the standard Garden View.

Since the pool access rooms share one long pool with several other rooms, I was a bit concerned about privacy. So, I opted for the Deluxe Garden View, which uses the main pool instead.

Step out onto the terrace, and you have the main pool right in front of you, with the restaurant and beach just a few steps to the side.

It offered the perfect balance of privacy while keeping the pool and beach incredibly close. Overall, I was super happy with my choice!

Another big reason I chose the Deluxe Garden View was this massive bathtub.

It’s so huge that it takes up almost an entire side of the room!

The only downside: It's so big that filling it up with water takes quite a while.

The toilet and shower booth are together in one space, while the vanity and sink are placed outside, likely because the bathtub is also located in the main living space.

Right next to the vanity, you’ll find the wardrobe and mini-bar.

Since the terrace faces the main pool area where people occasionally walk by, I couldn't keep the curtains wide open all the time, which was a tiny bit inconvenient.

But with the pool and beach so close and the resort itself being incredibly picturesque, it was overall a highly satisfying stay in Mui Ne.

When I actually tried walking, it took about 25 minutes to get to "Mr. Crab," the famous Mui Ne seafood spot.
