Today, I'm excited to introduce Tani Bay Hotel,
perfectly located in Dong-gu, Ulsan, with stunning ocean views! 😖💗
Situated right by Ilsan Beach, the location is absolutely unbeatable,
making it an amazing, budget-friendly option for your stay in Ulsan.
Just look at the quality of this standard room bathroom !!
At Tani Bay Hotel, every single room has an ocean view, offering breathtaking scenery,
and since it just opened in November 2023, this modern building
boasts gorgeous interior design and top-notch room quality.
Most of all, the infinity pool is absolutely mind-blowing! +.+
From my honest reviews of the rooms, pool, and dinner buffet
to insider tips on how to book this stay at the lowest price,
I'll share everything in detail in this post! ✨

To enjoy the stunning infinity pool
at Ulsan's premier ocean-view Tani Bay Hotel,
you MUST book the [Infinity Pool Package] room.
If you are not an Infinity Pool Package guest,
you cannot access the pool or sauna.
Also, unfortunately, there isn't an [Infinity Pool + Breakfast] combo package.
The infinity pool access is strictly limited to the [Infinity Pool Package].
This policy is the same across all booking platforms.
I compared prices across multiple booking sites,
and booking on AGODA with their discounts
offered the absolute best value for the money.
So definitely check room availability there! +_+

2. Deluxe Double Room
This is the hotel lobby on the 3rd floor.
Since it operates alongside a wedding venue,
it feels incredibly luxurious and grand.
Check-in is at 3:00 PM, and check-out is at 11:00 AM.
Since all rooms at Tani Bay Hotel
face the sea, the views are absolutely stunning.
The room we stayed in was the standard option,
the Deluxe Double Room.
The floor is made of hardwood rather than carpet,
which made the room feel incredibly clean and dust-free.
The bathroom layout is surprisingly spacious,
and the moody, dim lighting gives it a seriously luxurious vibe.
Especially with the floor-to-ceiling window right by the bathtub...
being able to soak while looking out at the ocean
makes this the absolute ultimate ocean-view staycation spot in Ulsan! ✨
From the room, you can see not only Ilsan Beach
but also Daewangam Park all at a glance!
Plus, Daewangam Park is within walking distance,
making this the perfect base for exploring Ulsan.
There are also tons of great restaurants near Ilsan Beach,
which is super convenient for grabbing dinner.
3. Infinity Pool & Sauna
Next up is the infinity pool and sauna,
which are exclusive to guests who book the Infinity Pool package.
Located on the 6th floor of the hotel,
the operating hours are from 7:00 AM to 9:30 PM,
but be sure to double-check at check-in as this can change! 💡
Wearing a swim cap or a baseball cap is mandatory,
and please note that it doesn't operate during the winter season.
They provide everything from towels, shampoo, and conditioner to lotion and body lotion,
so all you really need to pack is your own face cleanser!
I managed to snap a quick photo of the sauna when it was completely empty.
It features three different baths and a dry sauna room.
After rinsing off in the sauna
and changing into my swimsuit,
I headed straight over to the pool.
On the inside, you'll find a shallow kids' pool,
a warm spa jacuzzi, and sunbeds that you can use freely.
Near the entrance, there's a long infinity pool
that is absolutely perfect for adults! Haha.
It gets quite crowded right after check-in,
making it a bit tough to really swim, 🏊
but the next morning was super quiet, so I could swim to my heart's content.
Since the water blends right into the sea,
it's the perfect spot to capture your next cover photo!‼️😖
If you get chilly while swimming, you can warm up in the hot tub
before diving back in.
It really is the ultimate Ulsan ocean-view hotel.
4. Other Facilities (Gym 5F, Pado Buffet 2F, Cafe Pipers 3F)
A cozy but fully equipped gym
that even has foam rollers.
It's open to all staying guests.
The Pado Buffet on the 2nd floor is also very popular.
The dinner buffet features unlimited draft beer, and it tastes amazing!
Staying guests receive a 10% discount.
At Pipers, the outdoor cafe on the 3rd floor,
you can enjoy light snacks and beer.
You get a 10% discount here as well,
making it the perfect place to grab a casual drink while enjoying the night sea breeze. 😊
Breakfast is served at Saehae Restaurant on the 2nd floor.
The regular adult price is ~$20,
but hotel guests can get a 10% discount.
When I visited, they only served single-dish options,
but it has now been upgraded to a full breakfast buffet. 😊
The breakfast is highly recommended, so if you'd like to add it,
you can simply pay for it at check-in.

To use the infinity pool and sauna, you must book the 'Infinity Pool Package' room. Guests who have not booked this package cannot use the pool and sauna facilities.
You must wear a swimming cap or a baseball cap when using the pool, and the facility is closed during the winter season. Shampoo and lotion are provided in the sauna, but you need to bring your own facial cleanser.
Check-in is at 3:00 PM, and check-out is at 11:00 AM. You can process your check-in and check-out at the hotel lobby located on the 3rd floor.
The regular price for the breakfast buffet is ~$20 per adult. Tani Bay Hotel guests can enjoy a 10% discount off the regular price if they add breakfast during check-in.
From the Deluxe Double Room, you can enjoy a panoramic view of Ilsanji Beach and Daewangam Park. Daewangam Park is within walking distance from the hotel, making it convenient for sightseeing.
