Let's Play Summer in Ulsan Concert
Artist Lineup

They've booked the ultimate summer hitmakers for 2026!
Bada (from legendary K-pop group S.E.S.)
Park Myung-soo (G-Park)
and hip-hop duo Mighty Mouth! 〰️〰️
Just thinking about singing along to Park Myung-soo's classic summer anthems gets my adrenaline pumping!
And Bada's high-energy vocals are bound to blow the summer heat right out of the park.
She is an absolute powerhouse on stage!
Mighty Mouth is also joining—honestly, do these guys even age? They look exactly the same as they did a decade ago.

To get everyone hyped before the main stage performances,
there's a massive outdoor DJ party! 💜

For families traveling with kids, the giant Water Bounce Playground
is guaranteed to be a massive hit.

They will also be hosting outdoor movie screenings under the stars.

But best of all...
There is a dedicated Beer Festival zone! 🍻
Grabbing an ice-cold craft beer while dancing to the DJ set?
It honestly feels like a local, intimate version of Waterbomb Festival!
Crucial Tips for Ulsan Summer Festival

Since they use massive water cannons throughout the show,
make sure to wear quick-dry clothes and pack a complete change of clothes!
(Take it from me, I overpacked last year and regretted carrying a heavy, soggy bag.)

Last year, it actually poured rain during the festival.
We didn't even need the water cannons—we were just completely drenched by mother nature!
Between the sweat, the festival water, and the heavy rain,
my favorite cap literally ended up with salt rings on it...
Ready to take a trip down memory lane to see how wild it got?
My 2025 Ulsan Summer Festival Review

Last year's lineup featured retro K-pop royalty: Diva, Space A, and Chae Yeon!
The concert theme was a total 90s/2000s "Time Capsule" throwback,
and the nostalgia was absolutely real.
To be honest, we didn't even plan on attending the concert.
We were just walking along the Taehwagang riverbank when
the bass started bumping, and our inner party animals took over!
Since we had bags full of picnic food and drinks, I stayed back to watch our stuff,
while my high-energy friend Amy ran straight to the front row
to dance her heart out in the rain!

I accidentally deleted some of my photos from the night,
so I had to dig up a few older crowd shots to show you the scale of the park!
During the opening ceremony, local officials and the mayor
gave their classic congratulatory speeches from under a dry tent,
while we stood out in the pouring rain waiting for the music to start!
And then, Space A took the stage!

They looked absolutely incredible,
and their classic hit "Sexy Man" sounded just as iconic as it did in the 90s.
R.ef also put on an amazing, high-energy dance set.
Even with the slick, wet stage, they danced incredibly hard.
One of the backup dancers slipped slightly but recovered like a total pro.
They were so funny and charismatic!

Then the girls from Diva came out! 〰️〰️
I forgot how many of their songs I actually knew by heart.
They joked that because the rain was washing off their makeup,
they had to speed through their set before they looked like different people!
It was absolutely hilarious.
Back in the day, they had a tough, "bad girl" image, but they were so sweet and charming in person.

I guess I was a bigger Diva fan than I realized! 💓

Finally, the solo queen Chae Yeon took the stage.
The stage was incredibly wet and slippery,
yet she performed intense, flawless choreography in high heels!
It made me realize why she’s considered such a legendary performer.

She looked incredibly fit and gorgeous,
and she spent so much time interacting with the crowd between songs.
Even though I was completely soaked, dancing to all these throwback hits
made it one of the most memorable nights of my summer.
I am definitely planning to go back this year!
If you are traveling through South Korea in August and looking for an authentic local experience,
I highly recommend checking out this festival! ‼️‼️‼️
