A psychological thriller starring Choi Min-sik and Choi Hyun-wook, titled The Boy in the Last Row.
As Heo Mun-oh's obsession with Lee Kang's writing intensified, I found myself on the edge of my seat, almost tempted to look up spoilers. Then, in episode 4, a location flashed across the screen that looked incredibly familiar!
It was the outdoor area of Suwon Hwaseong Museum, where Heo Mun-oh observed Ahn Eun-ju, and the interior exhibition halls of Suwon Museum of Art, which served as a backdrop.

Suwon Hwaseong Museum is a place I adore in every season. From spring through fall, the lush, drooping weeping willows create a stunning landscape. Following the waterway, you'll encounter the picturesque Hwahongmun Gate, Yongyeon Pond, and Banghwasuryujeong Pavilion, making it truly breathtaking.
Seeing it appear unexpectedly in the series brought a rush of excitement!
The Suwon Museum of Art was also a delightful surprise, as I'd thoroughly enjoyed an exhibition there just last fall (Fall 2025).

It was the collaborative exhibition by artists Chae Ji-min and Ham Mi-na, titled If You Come at Four O'Clock, I'll Be Happy from Three O'Clock, where purity and a dreamlike atmosphere coexisted.
These were some of the captivating artworks Ahn Eun-ju and Kim Soo-hoon admired in the drama.
The exhibition was a striking blend of Chae Ji-min's surreal landscapes, objects, and paintings, alongside Ham Mi-na's works that expressed pure sensitivities like curiosity, fear, and joy held within. It struck me as a uniquely fitting location for The Boy in the Last Row, a series where imagination and reality intertwine in a captivating chaos.
While that particular exhibition has concluded, the museum is currently featuring its 2026 Collection Exhibition, Blanc Black Panorama, a captivating black-and-white themed display that offers a different, yet equally compelling, experience.
Thanks to The Boy in the Last Row, I'm already planning my next trip to the Suwon Museum of Art and Suwon Hwaseong Museum soon.
