Indulge in an unforgettable all-you-can-eat ganjang gejang experience at Woojeonok in Suwon. Enjoy unlimited savory marinated crab and spicy crab, perfect for seafood lovers!
For any true seafood lover, the thought of indulging in rich, savory marinated crab (Ganjang Gejang) is pure bliss. However, the price often makes it a rare treat, reserved for special occasions or homemade batches.
Imagine my excitement, then, when I heard whispers of an all-you-can-eat Ganjang Gejang spot right here in Suwon! Of course, I had to go check it out.
Location: Woojeonok Ganjang Gejang Unlimited Refill
94 Pajangcheon-ro, Jangan-gu, Suwon-si, Gyeonggi-do

Let me be upfront: as a huge fan of ganjang gejang, when I go to an all-you-can-eat spot, quantity often trumps absolute gourmet quality.
I actually hesitated a bit about posting this review because my very first bite of the unlimited crab had a slight fishy undertone, which was a bit off-putting.
However, after that initial bite, everything was perfectly fine! The subsequent refills were fresh and delicious.
What really sealed the deal for me was that by the time I left, there was absolutely no lingering fishy aftertaste. It took me a while to reflect on the experience, which is why this post is coming out a bit later than usual, but I wanted to give an honest assessment.
The staff, including the owner, were incredibly friendly. At first, the kind proprietress even helped us prepare some of the crab legs. By the time we finished, the restaurant was so popular they were actually turning away customers because they had run out of ingredients for the day! That's a true testament to their popularity.
Ultimately, if you're craving an unlimited ganjang gejang feast, this place is definitely worth a visit, and that's why I wanted to share it with you.

Woojeonok offers several crab options. There's a domestic female crab set (one crab per person), and then the refillable options. We opted for the imported crab unlimited refill, which costs ~$20 per person and requires you to finish the legs before getting more. We chose this option because, let's be honest, we were there to eat a lot of crab!
The Ganjang Gejang here features a well-balanced soy sauce marinade. It's not overly salty, making it easy to enjoy without feeling overwhelmed. While I sometimes prefer a slightly spicy kick in my soy sauce, this one was purely savory, letting the natural flavor of the crab shine through.

Unlike some other unlimited crab spots where the spicy marinated crab (Yangnyeom Gejang) can be a hit or miss, Woojeonok's version was quite good.

My only minor note would be that I personally might prefer just a touch less chili powder, but it was still delicious and definitely worth getting refills of.

The accompanying spicy crab stew (Kkotgetang) truly surprised me! I initially thought it would just be a side dish to fill out the meal, but the broth was incredibly flavorful, and the crabs inside were plump and substantial. It was just as satisfying to pick apart as the marinated crabs themselves.
Next time, I'm tempted to try their domestic crab set meal instead of the unlimited option, just to experience the difference. But for anyone who loves ganjang gejang and wants to dig in to their heart's content – mixing it with rice, slurping every last bit – Woojeonok is the place to be.
We refilled both the Ganjang Gejang and Yangnyeom Gejang once each, and it was a glorious feast.

Woojeonok also offers Ganjang Gejang for takeout and delivery, so you can enjoy it at home too!

As with most all-you-can-eat establishments, there's a 1-hour time limit for refills, and a one-order-per-person policy applies.
So, if you're in Suwon and ready to truly indulge in all the Ganjang Gejang your heart desires, make your way to Woojeonok. You won't regret it!

The ~$20 per person menu offers unlimited refills of imported crab. Refills are only possible after consuming all parts, including the legs. This crab is seasoned with a mild and not-too-salty soy sauce, allowing you to enjoy it without feeling overwhelmed.
Suwon Woojunok Ganjang Gejang has a break time from 3 PM to 5 PM. Please keep this in mind when planning your visit.
Unlimited refill crab is limited to a 1-hour refill time, and the principle is one order per person. The article's author mentioned refilling both ganjang gejang and yangnyeom gejang once each.
