When I was planning this trip, I had a few non-negotiables for my ideal hotel stay:

[Hotel Entrance & Exterior]

On the first floor, you'll find a small bar and a mini-mart, which was super convenient for grabbing water, snacks, and other essentials.

[Inside the Hotel & Room Details]

I stayed in the Family Suite, which was incredibly spacious with two separate bedrooms. It would be absolutely perfect for families or groups of friends traveling together.

After using your card key to enter, you're greeted by three doors.

To the left, there's a small restroom with just a toilet.

To the right, you'll find a twin-bedded room.

With two twin beds, it's super convenient for kids or friends sharing a room. The en-suite bathroom even has a bathtub, which was heavenly after a long day of exploring.

Stepping through the middle door leads you into the living room.

The living room felt like a whole different vibe! It was spacious, with a comfy sofa and a separate dining table – perfect for gathering everyone for snacks and chats. There's also a small kitchenette, great for preparing simple meals!

Forks and spoons were provided, but I didn't spot any cooking pots or pans, so keep that in mind if you plan to use the kitchen.

Further into the living room, you'll find another bedroom with a queen-sized bed.

This room also has its own private bathroom, offering a bit more privacy – a huge plus for multiple guests!

Overall, the accommodation was incredibly spacious with multiple bathrooms, making it ideal for groups.

I also appreciated the disposable amenities, as sometimes multi-use ones can feel a bit iffy.

[Breakfast & Facilities]

Breakfast hours: 06:00 AM - 10:00 AM

The breakfast restaurant isn't huge, so if it's full, you might be directed to the seating area of the adjacent Full Moon Restaurant. They offered a good selection of salads and simple hot dishes. Fresh pho and egg dishes were cooked to order, and the bread and fruit selections changed daily, adding a nice variety.

The indoor pool was heated, which made for a wonderfully warm and relaxing swim.

You just need to bring your swimsuit; towels and kickboards are provided. There are also lockers and showers available, plus a sauna and a jacuzzi!

You can freely turn the sauna on/off whenever you want to use it. Just a heads-up, the jacuzzi wasn't the cleanest, so keep that in mind. While the building feels a bit older, it's clearly well-maintained and kept spotless.

Plus, it's only about a 15-minute taxi ride to Hoan Kiem Lake, and in the evenings, you can enjoy the peaceful ambiance of West Lake. I highly recommend the "Super Candle Hotel" for a delightful staycation in Hanoi! 💕
