When you're on a family trip,
you tend to spend quite a bit of time at your accommodation,
so I always find myself considering if the time spent at the lodging will be comfortable.
Sonokam Geoje, where we stayed on this trip to Geoje,
was perfect for relaxing while gazing at the ocean from our room.
Plus, with spaces for leisurely strolls or spending quality time with the kids,
it allowed us to plan a slightly more relaxed itinerary.
Today, I'll be sharing my review of the Sonokam Geoje Ocean View Silver Suite,
along with details on its facilities and accommodation prices.

1. Sonokam Geoje: Where We Loved Enjoying the Geoje Sea
What truly stood out and remains most memorable about Sonokam Geoje was undoubtedly the
ocean view.
You can enjoy a breathtaking, panoramic
ocean view of Geoje from every single room.
While enjoying the ocean view from our room was fantastic,
stepping outside the resort revealed gardens and the sea blending together,
reminiscent of Santorini, making it perfect for a leisurely walk.
By day, we strolled along the deck path with the sea as our backdrop,
and in the evening, as the surrounding lights came on,
the atmosphere transformed, making it ideal for a post-dinner walk.
Being able to gaze at the sea from our room,
and then stepping out to find gardens seamlessly blending with the ocean,
meant we could soak in the delightful atmosphere of our Geoje trip even after our outdoor excursions.
2. Room Options and Accommodation Price Comparison for Families
Sonokam Geoje offers a wide range of room options to suit various group sizes,
from Family to Suite, Silver, and Gold.
The room we stayed in was a Silver Suite.
It had two bedrooms and plenty of extra bedding
available.
There were also two bathrooms, one of which had a bathtub,
which my mother loved for a relaxing half-bath.
The kitchen, living area, and sofas were all spacious enough,
so it felt perfectly comfortable for everyone staying together.
For a family of 3-4, a Family room is perfectly sufficient!
If you're traveling with parents or a larger group, like two families,
it's more comfortable to choose a room type with two or more separate bedrooms and bathrooms,
such as a regular Suite or a Silver Suite.
The **Standard Suite** accommodates up to 5 people and is 108.14㎡,
while the **Silver Suite** accommodates up to 6 people and is 156.11㎡.
The Silver Suite is larger in size,
and comes with more generous amenities.
The layout is similar, so keep this in mind when choosing!
Comparing Accommodation Prices for Sono Calm Geoje
Even when checking for the same dates and room conditions,
there were **price differences across various booking platforms.**

**Yeogi Eottae** has a higher basic room price than Trip.com, but

If you look closely at **package deals** including Ocean Adventure or breakfast,
you can often use them much more affordably
than if you paid for each item separately!

3. Why Spending Time Inside the Resort with Kids Was So Great
If the ocean view was my first impression of Sono Calm Geoje,
what made our stay so comfortable with my mother and child was
**the fact that there were places to spend time**
**without even having to leave the resort.**
In the basement, there's **Legend Heroes**, where
you can enjoy sports games.
There's also an arcade room and a self-photo booth,
which was really convenient to have.
Those kids who, even after playing excitedly all day,
start proclaiming boredom by evening....
When your accommodation is in the middle of nowhere,
you often end up relying on screens to entertain, but
it was fantastic to have fun activities right inside the resort.
With Baskin Robbins, Starbucks, and
a convenience store located inside,
the need to get back in the car for snacks or essentials
was reduced, which is surprisingly convenient
on a family trip.
The Chef's Kitchen dinner was also quite good,
so I'll leave a separate review for that!
Especially on days when outdoor activities are challenging,
like during rain or in the peak of summer,
being able to take care of everything right inside your accommodation is a huge plus!
4. How to Get Discounts for Ocean Adventure
If you're visiting Sono Calm Geoje with kids,
you're probably wondering whether or not to go to Ocean Adventure.
If you're planning to include water activities in your itinerary,
it's much more affordable to choose an accommodation package that includes Ocean Adventure,
and also to prepare discounted tickets in advance.
On the official website, Gold Season 2 prices
start from ~$44.
If you purchase in advance, you can buy them from ~$31.
Depending on your stay dates, a package deal is much cheaper
than buying the room and tickets separately, and even
extra tickets are more affordable online than at the gate, so
be sure to plan smart and prepare in advance.

5. Overall Review of Sono Calm Geoje for Family Trips
What I loved most about Sono Calm Geoje wasn't just that it was an accommodation with decent rooms;
it was a fantastic place to relax and enjoy all the amenities.
From the room, we could gaze out at the Geoje sea, and
stepping outside, there were gardens to stroll through or
places within the resort to spend time with the kids.
It meant that even after a day of sightseeing and returning to our accommodation,
the feeling of the trip wasn't over.
If you're traveling with parents or two or more families,
choosing a Suite or Silver Suite would likely ensure
a comfortable stay without any inconvenience.
Before booking, keep in mind that the best booking platform might differ
depending on whether you're reserving just the room or including Ocean Adventure,
so I recommend comparing the package deals as a final step.
