Ramada Sokcho Hotel Review 2026: Budget Autumn Foliage Stays
Discover the Ramada Sokcho Hotel, a budget-friendly gem perfect for autumn foliage trips in 2026. Enjoy comfortable stays near Seoraksan and Daepo Port with our exclusive booking tips!

When autumn foliage season arrives, Sokcho is always the first place that comes to mind.
Our ideal autumn getaway involves exploring Sokcho and Goseong, then settling into a comfortable hotel for the night before heading straight to Seoraksan National Park for stunning fall colors.
For such a trip, a pricey hotel feels a bit over the top.
That's why I always search for budget-friendly accommodations in Sokcho, and the Ramada Sokcho Hotel consistently comes out on top.
(It's just a 20-minute drive to the Seoraksan cable car!)

While its prices are usually quite reasonable, I recently found an incredible deal for the Ramada Sokcho in mid-October for around ~$37, so I had to share it quickly! +__+
This deal might sell out fast, so here's the link:
✔️ Ramada Sokcho ~$37 Booking Link
1. Ramada Sokcho Hotel Basic Information
Location: A 5-minute walk to Daepo Port (perfect for fresh seafood pick-up!)
Right next to Casia Sokcho, offering remarkably similar ocean views.

While Casia Sokcho and Lotte Resort are well-known, their prices during peak autumn season can be quite steep. That's why I always compare prices with the Ramada as my baseline.

Price | Weekdays from ~$37 Weekends from ~$103 | Weekdays from ~$155 Weekends from ~$244 |

With the idea of a comfortable night's rest before hiking, my husband and I booked a twin-bed room, and it was an excellent choice. We slept like babies! 👍🏻

One thing to note: the Ramada Sokcho rooms have carpeted floors. If you're traveling with a baby who isn't walking yet, you might consider paying a bit more or adjusting your dates for an Ondol (Korean-style heated floor) room at Casia, which might be more suitable.
2. Ramada Sokcho: A Budget-Friendly Gem

The Ramada opened in 2016, making it about a decade old now in 2026.
Honestly, ten years isn't old for a hotel, but it feels that way only because the brand-new Casia is right next door.

The rooms offer a comfortable ambiance, and soundproofing from the hallway is decent. However, in ocean-harbor view rooms, you'll hear the waves quite clearly on rougher days.
My husband and I actually loved the romantic sound! 💙
Nevertheless, even my light-sleeping husband reported sleeping soundly without any bothersome ambient noise. The bedding was incredibly cozy, solidifying my confidence in recommending this hotel.

Waking up to the ocean-harbor view was quite pleasant.
Personally, I prefer a view that includes the harbor alongside the ocean; a pure ocean view can feel a bit monotonous. ㅠ
The room size isn't particularly large—about 23 square meters (roughly 247 square feet).
But for a budget-friendly stay the night before a hike, this amount of space felt perfectly adequate.

Oh, and parking can be a bit tight on weekends. However, you can use the Daepo Port Public Parking Lot 1 right in front of the hotel. If you're arriving a bit late, it's a good idea to head straight there to save time.
3. How to Get a Discount
I'm more of an explorer who loves wandering around nearby attractions than someone who frequents hotel communities. So, comfortable bedding and convenient access are paramount for me.
The Ramada meets these criteria and can be booked for around ~$37!
Let me share how, as I stumbled upon the method myself. Haha.

First, download the Accommodation Festa discount coupon.
🎟️ Get your ~$22 Accommodation Festa Discount Coupon
Then, go to the room's ~$7 discount link. It can be hard to find if you just search for it, so here it is ▼
Click the 'Book Now' button, and you'll see the final payment amount: ~$37.

While autumn seems to get shorter each year, few places can rival the beauty of fall in Korea. That's why I always stick to domestic travel during this season.

Let's enjoy the stunning autumn foliage without stressing our minds or our wallets! 🍁
