Our final stop on this trip was Sogeumsan Grand Valley in Wonju. Being 39 weeks pregnant, I was highly hesitant about whether I could pull this off.

The regular price for the integrated adult ticket was ~$12, which felt a bit steep for four adults, even though kids under 7 get in for free. Luckily, they offer local tourism discounts! By showing our reservation at Oak Valley Resort, we managed to snag our tickets for just ~$5 each.

Since strollers aren't allowed on the famous suspension bridge (the first main course), I decided to take the cable car up to the top and wait for the rest of the family there.

We couldn't pass up the iconic photo zone at the Sogeumsan Suspension Bridge frame. After a quick group snapshot, the rest of our crew set off to conquer the full loop trail.

Our friends brought a proper hiking baby carrier backpack, which was incredibly smart. We actually own the exact same one but completely forgot to pack it! My poor husband had to carry our 15-month-old, Moldiv, in his arms the entire way. Note to self: always double-check the trunk before leaving for a hike!

Moldiv is usually a great eater who rarely demands snacks, but the heat and the climb were getting to him. We ended up offering him an endless supply of organic rice crackers to keep him happy. It worked like a charm! He even borrowed a friend's sun hat and looked absolutely thrilled.

Seeing the photos of my husband and Moldiv navigating the trail together was so heartwarming. They had a tough workout, but they made some wonderful memories.

Because they powered through to the very end, they captured some gorgeous shots at the final scenic photo zones. I was so bummed that my 39-week pregnancy kept me from joining them on the walk, but hearing my husband say how much Moldiv loved it made it all worth it. It was a hot day, but the smiles on their faces proved it was an unforgettable family adventure.
