Sapporo Weather in September 2026
In mid-September 2026, Sapporo experiences daytime highs ranging from about 68°F to 81°F.
However, mornings and evenings see temperatures drop significantly, with lows between 50°F and 59°F.
Areas like Biei and Furano, located a bit further north of Sapporo city, tend to be even cooler.
While daytime temperatures are similar, morning lows can dip to around 52°F.
It's comparable to an early October day in many cooler climates, so I highly recommend packing a light jacket or windbreaker to stay comfortable!
Will it Rain Much in Sapporo in September 2026?
Sapporo in September typically sees an average of 10 rainy days.
Most of these are usually short, evening showers.
I recommend bringing a foldable umbrella that can double as a parasol, a spare pair of socks, and having at least one indoor alternative activity planned in case of rain!
