The Sapporo Prince Hotel, where I stayed this time,
was not only amazing in terms of room condition,
but also offered breakfast and dinner buffets featuring Hokkaido ingredients,
and had fantastic facilities, making it a truly satisfying stay.
They even operate a free shuttle bus to Sapporo Station,
which made planning my travel itinerary so much easier!
Let me tell you all about the Sapporo Prince Hotel!

1. Prince Hotel

The Sapporo Prince Hotel is
located approximately a 3-minute walk from the tram (Shiden) Chuo-Kuyakushomae Station.
You can reach Susukino directly by tram,
and getting to and from Sapporo Station is a breeze with the free shuttle bus.
Plus, there's a New Chitose Airport limousine bus stop
right in front of the hotel,
which made airport transfers incredibly convenient!

After checking in at the luxurious and spacious lobby,
I headed to my room.
There are no less than five elevators, so
I rarely had to wait and could get one right away.
2. Room Condition

While many accommodations in Japan often have compact rooms,
the Sapporo Prince Hotel
had ample space even with my suitcase open,
so I stayed comfortably without feeling cramped.
For a real feel of the room's spaciousness and layout, check out the video!

Let's dive deeper into the Prince Hotel's room condition.
Right by the entrance, you'll find room slippers,
and they're wonderfully thick and plush,
which kept my feet super comfortable throughout my stay.

In front of the bed, there's a long table, perfect for placing your belongings.
It comes equipped with a lamp, a mirror, and two bottles of mineral water.
The mirror even has its own lighting,
which was super handy for getting ready in the morning.

Inside the table drawer, you'll find a 110V charger cable,
a coffee machine, an ice bucket, cups, and various teas.
With an ice dispenser on the 2nd floor,
you can easily fill your bucket with ice
and enjoy a relaxing beer or champagne!

I stayed in a twin room at the Prince Hotel,
so there were two beds ready for us,
and since the beds were spaced a bit apart,
even when staying with my travel companion,
we could each relax comfortably in our own space.
Between the beds, there was a light control and an outlet,
making it convenient for each of us to charge our phones
or turn off the lights without even getting up.

Pajamas were also provided,
and they were long-sleeved and long-legged, perfect for comfy wear.
They were so soft and fuzzy that I ended up sleeping in them instead of the pajamas I brought!

The bathroom, too, felt more spacious compared to typical Japanese accommodations,
allowing us to use it without feeling cramped.
The bathtub was also generously sized,
so in the evenings, I enjoyed a relaxing soak with bath salts, washing away all the day's fatigue! Haha.
Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand wash, toothbrushes, and other basic amenities
were all well-stocked.

And you absolutely can't miss this view!!
With views of the iconic Sapporo TV Tower and the Ferris wheel,
you can fully immerse yourself in Sapporo's cityscapes.
At night, gazing at the city lights,
it was perfect for enjoying a relaxed moment with a beer in hand.
3. Breakfast Delights

The Sapporo Prince Hotel's breakfast menu is truly captivating! 🥹
From shrimp and scallops to steamed eggs topped with sea urchin roe,
you can indulge in fresh seafood right from the morning.
Compared to typical hotel breakfasts,
these are dishes you don't often see,
making breakfast alone a true taste of Sapporo.

Personally, the shrimp was the most delicious thing,
with its rich texture and subtle sweetness that just melted in your mouth.
It was the kind of flavor that made you want to feast on seafood first thing in the morning!
If you try nothing else, make sure to try the shrimp!

Beyond the seafood, there were also various side dishes like sausages, scrambled eggs, and fish,
along with a wide selection of salads and breads,
perfect for a hearty meal no matter your preference.

And guess what? They even had Sapporo's iconic soup curry!
It wasn't too heavy, nor was it too watery – just the right consistency,
making it perfectly enjoyable without feeling overwhelmed.
It was surprisingly filling too,
making it a truly fitting breakfast option.

The menu was so diverse and delicious,
making it a breakfast where you couldn't go wrong, no matter what you chose.
And to top it off, I could even enjoy dishes I had been eager to try in Sapporo,
all in one place!
It made the experience even more satisfying! 👀✨

After the meal, I indulged in fruits and desserts,
finishing on a sweet note and enjoying some coffee,
spending a wonderfully relaxed morning.
4. Dinner Restaurant

The charm of Sapporo Prince Hotel in Japan
doesn't just end with breakfast!
They also operate a dinner buffet,
offering a different, yet equally delightful,
array of diverse menus compared to breakfast.

From butter-infused scallops to
plump steamed red snow crab,
and freshly prepared sushi right before your eyes,
a wonderful array of seafood options, distinct from breakfast, was available,
allowing me to savor a wide variety of flavors even in the evening.

Beyond that, there was a diverse selection of dishes perfect for an evening meal,
like crispy fried foods and succulent meat skewers.
Pairing them with a refreshing beer or a glass of whisky,
I enjoyed a truly relaxing time.

While soup curry was available in the morning,
the evening featured a rich, thick curry,
offering a different kind of delicious charm to enjoy.

With a diverse selection of sweet treats, including luscious fruits, ice cream, and cakes,
and plenty of appealing options for children,
this Sapporo hotel was also a great choice for family trips :)

Since both breakfast and dinner were incredibly satisfying,
if you're staying at the Sapporo Prince Hotel,
I highly recommend indulging in their buffet options.
5. Amenities

The combination of the room, breakfast, and buffet was already a winning formula,
but with the excellent additional facilities,
my stay was incredibly convenient and enjoyable! ✨
With a FamilyMart convenience store right inside the hotel lobby,
I didn't have to venture far
to grab essentials like beer and water.

On the second floor, you'll find coin-operated washers and dryers,
along with an ice machine,
making it super convenient even for longer trips.
6. Wrapping Up

A hotel stay during your travels isn't just about finding a place to sleep;
it's a crucial part that can make or break your entire day.
The Sapporo Prince Hotel, with its comfortable rooms,
delicious dining options, and excellent facilities,
was the perfect place to start and end my trip.
Its convenient location for getting to and from New Chitose Airport and Sapporo Station
only added to the overall satisfaction.
So, if you're deliberating on where to stay in Sapporo,
I wholeheartedly recommend the Prince Hotel! :)
