1. Why You Should Book Your Japan Hotel on Klook

If you're planning to book a hotel in Japan right now,

many of you might be looking to book for October, November, or December.

This period is peak season for travel in Japan.

So, bookings tend to be a bit more expensive than the current season.

That's precisely when using a Klook discount code can help you

book your accommodation much cheaper.

Actually, I also booked accommodation for my upcoming Sapporo trip in December.

I booked a Superior Twin Room (including breakfast) at Sapporo Stream Hotel for a December stay,

and I ended up paying in the ~$152 range, which was ~$48 cheaper than Agoda and ~$13 cheaper than Trip.com.

2. My Actual Payment Review for Sapporo Hotels with Klook Discount Code

This is my self-funded payment receipt.

Currently, Klook itself is also running a Sapporo hotel promotion,

so I received a promotional discount, totaling ~$16 in savings.

Out of that, I saved ~$8 by entering the Klook discount code.

This is the discount I received within the Klook site,

and I'll show you the price difference compared to Trip.com and Agoda in section 3 below.

Right before payment, there's a dedicated field for coupon codes.

Just paste it there and click the apply button, and the total amount will instantly decrease.

It was reassuring to visually confirm the discount before finalizing the payment.

2 Important Points for Getting the Full Discount

1) Choose Immediate Payment

If you choose 'Pay Later,' the discount won't apply.

Even with immediate payment, free cancellation is available within the specified period, so no worries.

Payment methods like Naver Pay, Toss Pay, or credit card are all fine.

If you pay with Toss Pay, you can also get a first-come, first-served discount of up to ~$8, so I recommend trying for both the code and this limited offer.

3. Price Comparison: Trip.com, Agoda, and Klook for Sapporo Hotels

So, you're probably wondering if Klook is *actually* the cheapest, right?

I compared three sites directly for the same Superior Twin Room (24㎡),

including breakfast, on the same dates.

📌 Here's a summary of the table's contents in text:

Based on the same Sapporo Stream Hotel Superior Twin Room, Agoda was around ~$200, Trip.com was around ~$166, but when I applied the discount code on Klook, it was in the ~$152 range.

Klook was about ~$13 cheaper than Trip.com and about ~$48 cheaper than Agoda (as of August 2026).

Honestly, I thought they would all be pretty similar at first.

But when I actually compared the same room for the same dates, there was almost a ~$48 difference with Agoda!

That's enough for a delicious dinner in Sapporo, right?

It felt like a shame to just miss out on those savings.

⚠️ I'll also be honest about one minor drawback.

Klook hotels require upfront payment, meaning the full amount is charged the moment you book.

If you're used to paying on arrival, this might feel like an initial burden.

However, that's precisely how you save money upfront with the discount code, so

Q. How do I apply the Klook discount code?

After accessing Klook through the exclusive discount link,

during the hotel booking payment step,

enter JAPANHOTEL5%KLK into the coupon code field,

and a 5% discount will be applied automatically.

Q. How long is the Klook Japan Hotel discount code valid?

It can be used from August 6 to August 31, 2026.

Even if your trip is in December, you can apply the code if you book within August.

It might be used up early as it's first-come, first-served, so

if you find it, register the coupon right away!

Q. If I miss the first-come, first-served offer, are there other discount codes?

Q. If I prepay and then cancel, will I get a refund?

It depends on the rate you booked when making your hotel reservation.

Each rate plan has its own free cancellation conditions,

so if your travel dates are absolutely set, you can book the cheapest non-refundable option,

but if you're feeling a bit unsure, you can always book with the free cancellation option.

Personally, I prefer to book with the free cancellation option, even if it costs a little more, as long as the price difference isn't too significant.
