Sapporo Family Hotels 2026: Spacious Rooms for Kids

Hello, I'm Seul-seul-ring, your travel influencer!

The weather's getting cooler, and that means it's the perfect season

to start planning a trip to Sapporo!

A winter trip with our child has been

my husband's long-cherished dream.

We kept putting it off, worried about catching a cold, but while looking for

Sapporo trips, I searched for hotels with spacious rooms,

and the prices were surprisingly great!

I'll be comparing and analyzing Sapporo hotels with spacious rooms

that are perfect for families below~!

TOP 3 Sapporo Hotels with Spacious Rooms

1. Hotels with Great Location and Spacious Rooms

2. View Hotel Odori Park

3. Grand Hotel

4. Sapporo Mercure

I'll introduce Sapporo's spacious room hotels, perfect for families,

in the order listed above~!

1. Hotels with Great Location and Spacious Rooms

Generally, Japanese hotel rooms are quite small,

so I specifically looked for spacious ones.

The average standard room size in Japan is around 20m².

I searched for rooms larger than 40m².

Since I've even specified the names of the spacious room types,

I recommend checking their availability for your specific dates first!

2. View Hotel Odori Park

The Deluxe Twin Room at View Hotel Odori Park is

incredibly spacious, boasting a room size of 45m².

What's more, with a coupon applied, the price drops to around

~$117 on weekdays.

It's a spacious room with enough space for a bed, a sofa, and a table area,

and it can accommodate up to three adults.

What's special is that the room floor isn't carpeted;

it's hardwood, which is a favorite among Koreans.

Carpeted floors can feel a bit unhygienic,

and with kids... it can be even more troublesome, haha.

The bathroom is also spacious enough to fit a bathtub.

It's not a cramped bathroom,

making it easier to care for a baby!

View Hotel Odori Park offers lounge benefits.

You can enjoy complimentary cookies every day,

which means you can savor various Japanese desserts and

recharge your energy during your trip.

Overall reviews are great, and Odori Park is right in front of the hotel.

Sapporo Station and Susukino Station are also

within walking distance, which contributes to the positive reviews!

While the carpeted floor might not be everyone's first choice,

which means your suitcase size can be quite considerable.

But because the room is so spacious overall,

you'll still have plenty of room to move around, even with your bags unpacked!

The bathroom is also thoughtfully designed with a separate bathtub and washbasin,

making it super convenient whether you're traveling with friends or family.

It definitely makes using the facilities a breeze!

You can reach it within 5 minutes via Sapporo Station's underground passage,
