I recently went on a babymoon to Okinawa for about a week.
During my trip, I explored the North, Central, and South regions!
Today, I'm excited to introduce an amazing accommodation in Southern Okinawa.
It's a newly opened resort boasting a private beach, six swimming pools, and immaculate rooms,
all offering incredible value for money in Southern Okinawa, starting from around ~$140!
I'll meticulously share everything from how to book at the lowest price to my full review.

The reason I chose Ryukyu Hotel Okinawa is its fantastic location: only about a 20-minute drive from Naha Airport,
making it incredibly convenient for your arrival day or the night before your departure.
Plus, as a relatively new 5-star resort, the facilities are absolutely pristine!
But the biggest advantage, hands down, is that all rooms offer stunning ocean views! 🌊
I booked last minute and paid around ~$179 for one night,
but if you book in advance, there are plenty of days where you can snag a room for as low as around ~$140.
Considering a resort of this scale, complete with pools, a private beach,
and diverse facilities, it truly offers exceptional value!
Especially during peak season, room prices can vary significantly,
so I highly recommend comparing the lowest prices before you book.

After finishing our plans in American Village, we arrived at Ryukyu Hotel!
As soon as we arrived, the spacious and stylish lobby immediately caught my eye.
Being only about 20 minutes from the airport was a huge plus, allowing us to relax right away without a long journey.
We parked in the lot in front of the resort,
and even though check-in was officially at 3 PM, they let us check in at 2 PM!
Parking cost 1,500 JPY, and we received a parking pass that allowed us to come and go freely throughout our stay.
When leaving, insert the pass and get a new ticket!
Upon returning, insert the pass again!
Keeping it in the rental car was super convenient~
The room I booked was a Twin Room!
As soon as I stepped into the room, the first thing that captivated me
was the breathtaking ocean view stretching beyond the floor-to-ceiling glass terrace.

I was also absolutely captivated by the expansive views from the outdoor pool, a true highlight of the Ryukyu Hotel, right next to Nashiro Beach!
Even though it was a twin setup, the beds were quite spacious, allowing for a super comfortable night's sleep, and the pristine white bedding felt incredibly fresh!
Seriously, out of all the places I stayed during my week-long trip, the room condition here was hands down the best! 🫢
Across from the bed, I found a wall-mounted TV and a convenient table. There was even enough space to fully open *two* suitcases without feeling cramped – a huge plus for any traveler!
What's more, the room came fully stocked with a fridge, coffee maker, bottled water, mugs, and plenty of capsule coffee. I didn't even need to step out to a cafe – everything I needed was right there! Haha!
Both the slippers and pajamas provided were incredibly comfortable – so much so that I ended up wearing their pajamas instead of the ones I packed!
And the bathroom? Pure 5-star luxury, with a gorgeous marble interior, of course!
The separate bathtub, shower, and toilet areas made it incredibly convenient, and the spacious vanity meant there was plenty of room for everyone. I'm sure families would absolutely love it!
Beyond ample towels, plush bathrobes, and a hairdryer, a whole array of amenities were thoughtfully provided, all complimentary.
Overall, the room exuded that fresh, inviting feeling you expect from a brand-new hotel 🤍.
Ryukyu, famous for its pools among accommodations in southern Okinawa,
operates six swimming pools.
Beyond the outdoor main pool, there's also a lazy river and a kids' pool,
and even a water slide is available for use.
I visited in February during winter, so I couldn't use the outdoor facilities,
but the indoor pool was operational,
so I could enjoy it without being affected by the weather.
There's also a small jacuzzi available,
perfect for warming up after a swim.
The changing rooms are equipped with showers and hairdryers,
and there's even a spin dryer, making it convenient to take care of wet swimsuits.
In addition to these, there's a gym, kids' room, coin laundry, souvenir shop,
and a beach goods store, among other various facilities.
With a breakfast buffet and several other restaurants,
you can literally take care of everything right within the resort!
It seems especially great if you're traveling with kids :)
The direct access from the hotel to Nashiro Beach's private shore
was also absolutely wonderful.
They also have a fountain show out front, so be sure to catch it if you pass by! 🫶
In the evening, I also enjoyed the illumination show held in the outdoor courtyard.

The day wrapped up with YouTube on the TV, some delicious local snacks, and
a convenience store late-night feast!
Considering the cost, it truly felt like a 5-star experience, and I was incredibly satisfied.
