Looking at the map, you can see it's literally right in front of the Churaumi Aquarium, right?

If you're traveling on foot, this place is highly recommended!

Even if you rent a car, the location is incredibly convenient~

2. Get Discounted Churaumi Aquarium Tickets at the Hotel!

I actually had no idea that the hotel offered

partner discounts for the Churaumi Aquarium!

Guests staying at the hotel can purchase tickets at a discounted rate

to explore the aquarium!

Adult tickets are discounted from 2,180 JPY (~$14) to 1,950 JPY (~$12)!

For kids, it goes from 710 JPY (~$5) down to 640 JPY (~$4)!

You can save about 230 JPY (~$1) per ticket!

Unfortunately, I had already finished my aquarium visit before checking in,

so I couldn't take advantage of this discount...

But for my fellow travelers, I highly recommend stopping by the hotel first to purchase your discounted tickets,

drop off your luggage, and then head straight to the aquarium!

My main focus when booking was finding somewhere reasonably priced and spacious, and...

Since I was staying alone, having three beds meant

I got to claim the middle one and spread out so comfortably!~

Breakfast included

For around ~$64, you get a room in this great condition

AND a delicious breakfast!

The reviews for the Royal View Hotel Churaumi breakfast

were absolutely raving about how delicious it is,

so my expectations were sky-high!

And honestly? It totally lived up to the hype~

As soon as you step into the room, the bathroom is right on your right.

It was super clean and even had a bathtub,

which was in great condition!

Here is a look at the bathroom and the room interior.

Walking in, there is a mirror

and a vanity/dressing table.

There is a cozy sofa to relax on,

and plenty of space in the middle to fully open up your suitcases!

One of the main things I look for when choosing a hotel

is the bedding,

and the bedding here was so fluffy and plush

that I drifted straight off to sleep!

Step outside, and you are greeted by a lovely garden view...

There was even a cute little patio table like this~

This place would be absolutely perfect for a getaway

with family or friends!

Oh, while almost everything about this hotel is a major plus,

if I had to pick one downside...

there is no elevator!

But don't worry, you can use the luggage-only lift to move your heavy bags~

The hotel seems a bit older than I expected,

but they maintain the building so well that

everything felt extremely clean and the facilities were great!

Since everyone online was raving about how amazing the breakfast at

Royal View Hotel Churaumi is,

I was incredibly curious~

And my official verdict?

It was absolutely delicious!!!

I never thought I'd be making my own Korean-style yogurt ice cream (Yoajeong) dessert in Okinawa of all places~~

Traditional Okinawan dishes,

starting with the side dishes,

soft dinner rolls,

crispy fried foods,

kebabs,

natto,

and even fresh kaisendon (seafood bowl)!

There were so many different options to choose from.

I'm not usually a big buffet eater,

so I was super bummed that I couldn't try everything!

You guys definitely need to go and totally conquer this buffet!!!

My modest little breakfast plate.

I really hate wasting food,

so I started with a neat, clean portion—and ended up going back for refills at least twice!

Also, have you ever seen

an actual honeycomb served at a hotel breakfast buffet?!

They had a whole, real honeycomb sitting right there!

As soon as I saw this honey,

I knew I had to make my own Yoajeong-style yogurt bowl!!!

In reality, the honey was placed next to

an automatic pancake-making machine,

meant to be drizzled over fresh pancakes!

Watching the pancakes slide out is so satisfying and cute~

Doesn't my pancake look pretty?!

Here is how I managed to make a DIY Yoajeong dessert bowl!

They had all kinds of syrups, berries, and banana chips right next to it~~

Ta-da!!

With the yogurt available, I successfully recreated Yoajeong right here in Okinawa, Japan~

Since I couldn't find any ice cream, it's technically just "Yojung" (yogurt + honey) instead of Yoajeong (yogurt ice cream + honey),

but the flavor was seriously out of this world!

I only put this together towards the end of my meal,

so I was already incredibly full,

but it was still so, so delicious~

5. Parking

If you search for 'Royal View Hotel Churaumi' on Google Maps and drive over,

you'll find the parking lot wraps around the side and goes all the way inside.

It's super spacious, so you definitely don't have to worry about finding a spot!~

The staff are incredibly friendly,

and they serve welcome tea until 8:00 PM.

It was a great way to save a bit of money without having to hit up a local cafe!~
