Rembrandt Hotel Bangkok Review 2026: Best Value Stay
Discover why Rembrandt Hotel & Suites Bangkok is the ultimate value-for-money stay near Asoke Station, featuring spacious rooms, a great pool, and top-tier breakfast.
If you are looking for the perfect place to stay near Asoke Station in Bangkok, let me introduce you to the Rembrandt Hotel. Having stayed at over ten different hotels around the Asoke area, I can confidently say that none match the incredible value of the Rembrandt. With its prime location, spotless rooms, inviting pool, and a fantastic breakfast spread, it’s truly hard to find any faults here.

Rembrandt Hotel Location

The Rembrandt Hotel is just an easy 10-minute walk (about 0.5 miles) from Asoke BTS Station (Sukhumvit MRT Station). I first stayed here back in 2023, and even now in 2026, it remains one of my favorite go-to spots in Bangkok.

The lobby is bright, modern, and exceptionally clean. If you don't feel like walking to Asoke Station, there is a complimentary tuk-tuk service waiting right outside. Just let the front desk staff know, and they will happily arrange a ride for you.
The Rooms

Let’s take a look inside the room. Even though this is just the entry-level Deluxe Twin Room, the space is incredibly generous. The two beds are large enough to comfortably sleep three people if needed. Plus, the floor-to-ceiling windows offer a wide-open city view that makes the room feel even more spacious and airy.

Since the Rembrandt was my very first hotel in Bangkok, it set the bar incredibly high. After staying here, it became difficult to find the same level of satisfaction elsewhere without paying upwards of ~$128 per night just to get a room of similar size.

Looking down from the window, you can see the inviting outdoor swimming pool. While many mid-range Bangkok hotels have tiny pools with poor water quality or limited sun loungers, the Rembrandt boasts a well-maintained pool area that is perfect for a proper swim and relaxation.

As soon as I unpacked, I headed straight down to the pool for a refreshing dip. With the summer heat kicking in, there’s nothing better than a clean pool to cool off. While travel costs globally have risen slightly, Bangkok still offers incredible value for your money compared to Western destinations.

The bathroom is also impressively spacious and clean. Generally, the closer a hotel is to Asoke Station, the smaller the rooms get and the higher the rates climb. Although prices at the Rembrandt have crept up slightly over the past three years, you can still easily book a room here in the range of ~$64 to $80 per night.
*While Agoda is usually the go-to for the lowest rates, Trip.com is currently running an exclusive promotion offering an extra 5% off (up to ~$38 discount) on hotel bookings. Taking advantage of these booking deals is a great way to shave even more off your accommodation budget!

When looking up rates for a weekend stay from Friday, June 12th to Sunday, June 14th, a Deluxe King Room was priced at just ~$60 per night, totaling ~$119 for a two-night stay.

After applying the promo code at checkout, the 5% discount brings the total down to just ~$113 for two nights! That is less than ~$58 a night for a highly-rated hotel right near Asoke Station—an absolute steal you shouldn't miss out on.

At around ~$56 per night, Trip.com actually came out cheaper than Agoda for these dates. Trip.com has been doing an outstanding job lately with competitive pricing and excellent customer support. I've even started booking my flights through them recently with great results.
Since the 5% discount scales with your total booking amount, you can save even more if you're booking a longer stay or upgrading to a luxury 5-star property.

The breakfast buffet features an impressive variety of options, and everything tasted wonderfully fresh. My personal highlight was the live noodle station, where you can get a bowl of piping hot, flavorful Thai noodle soup customized to your liking.

There is also a fully equipped fitness center on-site, so if you like keeping up with your workout routine while traveling, you can take full advantage of both the gym and the pool.

That wraps up my review of the Rembrandt Hotel & Suites, a premier budget-friendly option near Bangkok's bustling Asoke Station. With rates hovering around ~$64 per night (especially after applying discounts), finding a hotel of this caliber in such a central location is incredibly rare. Trust me, I've booked places in the ~$38 to $45 range before, only to end up in rooms the size of a capsule!
The promotional booking window runs through the end of May, so if you are planning a trip to Bangkok, make sure to book early and lock in these savings. Safe travels!
