If you're anything like me and adore water activities and snorkeling,
then a trip from Bangkok to Pattaya is an absolute must-do.
While Bangkok dazzles with its vibrant nightlife,
Pattaya is all about the ocean!
In Pattaya, there's an incredible tour that lets you enjoy snorkeling
and capture stunning underwater photos with Nemo fish,
all at a super reasonable price.
It's even more affordable than the Koh Larn tour,
and when I saw how close you could get to the Nemo fish,
I immediately booked it and went!

Beyond just Nemo, this island is home to a vast array of marine life,
and the 'Nemo Island Tour' offers high-quality underwater photography.
📸 When it's your turn for photos, you'll have one safety guide, one professional photographer, and yourself.
That's three people in total, ensuring you get stunning shots against a pristine ocean backdrop, free from crowds.
The camera equipment they use is top-notch, and the whole experience is only ~$28. It's truly an amazing value tour.
Life vests, flippers, and snorkeling gear are all provided for rent.
This tour operator is very mindful of hygiene, which I appreciated,
as the mouthpiece for the snorkeling gear was disposable!
It was my first time seeing this, and thanks to their attention to cleanliness,
I didn't need to buy any gear and happily used theirs.
While the waters directly off Pattaya can be a bit murky,
the photo spot at Nemo Island boasts exceptionally clear water.
You can enjoy snorkeling and even kayaking in these beautiful waters.
Because the water is so clear, during your photo session,
you can capture these incredibly vivid Nemo photos!
What's more, after the tour ends,
there are shower facilities available, so you can arrive back at your hotel
feeling fresh and dry, which was a huge plus..💕
The Pattaya Nemo Island Tour offers two options: a group tour and a private tour.
You don't necessarily need to pay extra for the private tour because,
first off, Nemo Island itself is only accessible to those who have booked a tour,
keeping it peaceful and uncrowded.
Secondly, Nemo photos are taken individually, one person at a time,
even on the group tour.
So, there's no need to shell out an extra ~$138; you can enjoy the fantastic value
of the tour for just around ~$28!

The drive from Pattaya to the Nemo Island pier is about 30 minutes from the city center,
and the speedboat ride itself is quite short.
I also really liked that after the tour, we were dropped off back in Pattaya city
within a short amount of time.
A short lunch break is provided, where you can buy simple cup noodles,
and hot water and iced coffee are available.
You can grab a quick bite there (I brought my own cup noodles).
Since it's a marine tour, the snorkeling points might change depending on the weather,
but don't worry, it won't shorten your tour time.
The lifeguards, guides, and photographers take excellent care of everyone!
Thanks to them, I got some truly beautiful photos!
Finally, a word of advice from me to you...
Friends,
DO NOT wear a rash guard; your photos will turn out like mine!
Nemo looks absolutely stunning, but I'm just in my rash guard.. haha.
Please wear a pretty swimsuit... 😭
That way, the photographer can capture amazing shots of you
not just in the water, but also on the sandy beach! ㅠㅠ

The Pattaya Nemo Island Tour can be enjoyed for around ~$28. Life jackets, flippers, and snorkeling equipment are all available for rent. Specifically, the mouthpiece for the snorkeling equipment is provided as a disposable item for hygiene purposes.
We visit 3 out of 5 snorkeling points near Sattahip's Koh Juang/Koh Chan. The tour starts with a Pattaya hotel pickup at 10 AM and concludes with a transfer back to Pattaya at 4 PM.
For underwater photography, a safety guide, a photographer, and yourself (a total of 3 people) will be together, allowing you to take photos against an empty ocean backdrop. Nemo photography is conducted individually, not in groups.
After the tour, you can use the shower facilities. During lunchtime, simple cup noodles are sold, and hot water and iced Americano are also prepared, allowing you to have a light meal.
