Your Okinawa Hot Spring Hotel Guide
Hinode Resort & Hot Spring

Thinking of a summer getaway? From June through August, Okinawa is a fantastic choice for a relaxing escape from the hustle and bustle.
Whether you're traveling with family, enjoying a romantic couples retreat, or exploring with friends, Okinawa offers the perfect blend of stunning beaches and luxurious "Hocance" (hotel vacation) experiences.
It's truly a destination where you can unwind and recharge, which is why I always recommend visiting during the warmer months!

Especially during peak season weekends in June and July 2026, you can often find round-trip flights for around ~$230, which is incredibly affordable. My advice? Book early to snag those low prices!
I've found some great flight deals around that ~$230 mark, and I'll leave the link for you:

When choosing your accommodation in Okinawa, you'll often consider the Northern, Central, and Southern regions. However, for those traveling without a rental car, locations near Kokusai Dori (International Street) and Naha are ideal.
As a traveler who prefers to get around on foot, I always opt for hotels conveniently located near a monorail station.

The Okinawa Hinode Hotel boasts an excellent location, just a 5-minute walk from Makishi Monorail Station and a quick 20-minute ride from Naha Airport.
The monorail fare is a mere 320 yen!

What's even better? The **unlimited drinks lounge** is open daily from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM, and it's absolutely free for all hotel guests!

With lounge access, hot springs, and a swimming pool all included, room rates start at an incredible ~$115. Talk about amazing value!
However, weekends in June and July 2026 are already seeing full bookings, so don't wait!

Pool & Hot Springs
Okinawa Hot Spring Hotel

Here's a look at the Hinode Hotel's swimming pool area. There are two outdoor pools, clearly separated into heated and cold sections.

During the day, guests enjoy swimming in the refreshing pools, and then transition to the warm waters of the heated pool at night.

The water isn't overly deep, making it perfectly suitable for children to play safely.

As for the hot springs, photography is prohibited, so I've included official photos from their website.
For a more private hot spring experience, simply inquire at the reception desk to make a reservation :)
Unlimited Drinks Lounge
Okinawa Hot Spring Hotel

Don't forget to check out the schedule for the daily unlimited drinks lounge, late-night ramen, and breakfast!

The unlimited drinks lounge here is truly one of the best I've encountered at any hotel, mainly because it's completely free for guests!

You'll find everything from Asahi draft beer to all the ingredients and recipes you need to mix your own cocktails.

Plus, there's a fantastic selection of premium sake, whiskey, and various highball options. Honestly, you won't need to step out to an izakaya; you can spend the entire evening enjoying drinks right here!

From 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM, they also serve **late-night ramen**. Grab some snacks or a meal from a nearby convenience store and pair it with a bowl of ramen and your favorite drink for the perfect end to your day :)

Hinode's breakfast service is well-equipped for families, offering kids' plates, utensils, and high chairs.

And the breakfast itself? It's incredibly good, with so many delicious options you'll be spoiled for choice!

I enjoyed two bowls of the Japanese cold soba – perfect for a warm summer morning.

They even serve **sushi** for breakfast!
The combination of the **unlimited drinks lounge and the high-quality breakfast** alone makes me want to visit this place again!
Guest Rooms
Okinawa Hot Spring Hotel

I stayed in the most affordable double room, and unlike typical business hotels, the room size was quite generous. The website indicates a spacious area of approximately 215 square feet.

Onsen pajamas are also provided for your comfort. Though, to be honest, I spent most of my time in the lounge and hardly in the room, haha!

The bathroom and vanity areas are also impeccably clean and well-maintained, as expected from a resort-style hot spring hotel.
This hotel truly comes highly recommended for families, couples, and friends on a fun getaway!
What's more, if you're exploring on foot, its proximity to Kokusai Dori means it's the perfect base for shopping and sightseeing, offering optimal travel routes!
