Hello everyone! I'm Viewmalang, your travel influencer.
I went on a 7-day, 6-night babymoon to Okinawa when I was 17 weeks pregnant! 🩵
With short flight times and the convenience of getting around by rental car,
Okinawa was the perfect choice for a babymoon in the second trimester.
I'll share a complete breakdown of our packed Okinawa adventure, covering the North, Central, and South regions, including the
Okinawa travel itinerary, route, and expenses,
along with recommended accommodations by location and even the best restaurants!
🔎 Here's what you'll discover in this post!

1. Why Okinawa for Your Babymoon?

Our 7-day, 6-night Okinawa babymoon, embarked on at 17 weeks pregnant! 👶🏻🤍
When choosing our babymoon destination, our top priorities were
short flight times + comfortable travel +
the ability to enjoy both relaxation and sightseeing.

We considered Southeast Asia, but being pregnant, I was a bit concerned about
the food and hygiene, so we opted for Okinawa with its relatively shorter flight time instead.
A huge plus was being able to minimize walking
by using a rental car!
We explored everything from the North to the Central and South regions, balancing sightseeing
with relaxing breaks at our resorts.
2. Okinawa Babymoon Expenses

Our total expenses for two people over the 7-day, 6-night trip were
approximately ~$2,761.
💰 Total Expenses: Approximately ~$2,761
Flights: ~$621
Rental Car: ~$345
Accommodation: ~$1,035
Shopping/Dining/Sightseeing: ~$690

✈️ Flights | Asiana Airlines
07:55 AM Depart Incheon → 10:40 AM Arrive Naha
12:00 PM Depart Naha → 02:35 PM Arrive Incheon
We specifically looked for a larger aircraft and found Asiana Airlines.
A round-trip for two was ~$621, and
the departure & arrival times were perfect!!!
After comparing prices, we booked through Trip.com for the best deal :)

(Including ETC)
(Gas cost: 2,500 yen)
(Rental period: 2/4 12:00 PM ~ 2/10 09:00 AM)
Many Koreans use Odal, so we felt confident booking through their community forum.

🍴 Shopping, Dining & Sightseeing | ~$690
Sightseeing: ~$69
Shopping: ~$173
Dining: ~$449

3. Okinawa Travel Accommodations

Okinawa's different regions each have their own unique vibe and attractions,
so I recommend splitting your accommodations to match your travel itinerary.
For our babymoon trip, instead of staying in one place,
we booked accommodations as we moved from the North → Central → South → Naha!
The North is great for relaxing leisurely at a resort,
the Central region is convenient for exploring American Village and other tourist spots,
and the South is perfect for enjoying southern Okinawa attractions like
Okinawa World or Nashiro Beach.
I'll introduce one recommended accommodation for each location!💓

📍 North|Hilton Okinawa Sesoko Resort
1 night / ~$138
Hilton Sesoko is the perfect accommodation for an Okinawa babymoon!
On our first day, we planned to relax at the resort rather than sightsee,
and leisurely spent time in our room and at the pool.
Being able to watch the sunset from Sesoko Beach was incredibly satisfying🤍

📍 Central|Vessel Hotel Campana Okinawa
1 night / ~$248
This is the accommodation we chose to stay at for another day in American Village.
Parking was free, and we could use the hotel's public bath, which was great for relaxing after sightseeing.
It's also a great location for enjoying the American Village night view or fireworks!

📍 South|Ryukyu Hotel & Resort Nashiro Beach
1 night / ~$186
After heading south, we planned to relax at the resort.
It was perfect for a leisurely break during our trip, enjoying the pool and Nashiro Beach.
Great value for money, highly recommend it as a babymoon resort in Okinawa💓

📍 Naha|Strata Naha
1 night / ~$131
We chose our last accommodation in Naha for easy access to the airport.
It's close to Kokusai Street, which was great for last-minute shopping,
and super convenient for heading to the airport the next day.
4. Okinawa Babymoon Itinerary

For my 6-night, 7-day trip,
I traveled by moving in the order of North → Central → South → Naha.
I moved around quite a bit, so it was a little intense ^^
