Recently, my family and I took a spontaneous weekend trip to Nine Tree Pangyo! The main reason we chose this particular spot? You guessed it – the swimming pool! Finding a hotel with a decent-sized pool at a reasonable price isn't always easy, so we were thrilled to discover this option.

Nine Tree Pangyo is conveniently located on the 3rd floor of Familleus Mall. This setup was perfect for a staycation, allowing us to easily pop over for a movie, grab a bite to eat, or do some light shopping without ever leaving the building.

One of the things I really appreciated was the dedicated elevator for the swimming pool. The pool is on the 11th floor, and the elevator is tucked away at the end of the hallway. You know how it is – after a swim, you typically head back to your room in a robe, maybe a little disheveled. It's nice to avoid bumping into other guests when you're not exactly looking your best, and this private elevator made that possible!

The pool area features both an adult pool and a kids' pool, which explains why so many families were enjoying their time here. When booking, the pool details stated a capacity of 100 people, a water temperature of around 84°F, a depth of about 4.3 feet, and dimensions of approximately 82 by 23 feet. I actually expected the water to be warmer, but it felt similar to a training pool and was a bit chilly for just leisure swimming.

There's also a dry sauna available, which is great for warming up. But, as we all know, once you step into the sauna, your swim session is pretty much over! We just popped in for about five minutes at the end to check it out.

Overall, the water quality seemed a bit questionable, and the whole area felt quite chaotic. We only ended up using the pool for about 30 minutes, which was a shame since the pool was the main reason for our visit. If you're a true swim enthusiast, I'd definitely recommend the DoubleTree for a better experience!
