Recently, my family and I took a spontaneous weekend trip to Nine Tree Pangyo! The main reason we chose this particular spot? You guessed it – the swimming pool! Finding a hotel with a decent-sized pool at a reasonable price isn't always easy, so we were thrilled to discover this option.
Nine Tree Pangyo is conveniently located on the 3rd floor of Familleus Mall. This setup was perfect for a staycation, allowing us to easily pop over for a movie, grab a bite to eat, or do some light shopping without ever leaving the building.

One of the things I really appreciated was the dedicated elevator for the swimming pool. The pool is on the 11th floor, and the elevator is tucked away at the end of the hallway. You know how it is – after a swim, you typically head back to your room in a robe, maybe a little disheveled. It's nice to avoid bumping into other guests when you're not exactly looking your best, and this private elevator made that possible!

The pool area features both an adult pool and a kids' pool, which explains why so many families were enjoying their time here. Just a heads-up for the adult pool: swimmers must be at least 4 feet 7 inches tall to enter. Also, swimsuits and swim caps are mandatory for everyone, and personal water toys are not allowed.

It's clear how popular the pool is by the nicely printed signs detailing the rules and hours posted in the elevator. They even list closure dates, so it's a good idea to check those before your visit.

I had planned to be there right when the pool opened, but I overslept a bit. By the time I arrived, all the sunbeds were taken! While a few spots did open up eventually, I didn't bother trying to get one. Luckily, there were plenty of benches along the edge of the pool where I could stash my phone and robe.

Before entering the pool area, you'll need to put your shoes in the shoe lockers. They don't have locks, so you just place them inside and head in.

Inside the changing rooms, you'll find showers, hairdryers, and even a spin dryer for your swimwear. It's convenient if you want to rinse off and get ready right there.

Right at the pool entrance, there's a small shop selling swimming essentials. Since swim caps are mandatory here, if you forgot yours, I highly recommend grabbing one right away!

I happened to enter during a break, which meant I got to snap some photos of the empty pool. You can even spot some kids' life vests or floaties available for use.

One small detail that bothered me was the textured flooring around the pool – it was quite rough on the soles of my feet! I found myself walking on my heels to avoid the discomfort. The adult pool, without any designated lanes, felt more like a large splash area than a proper swimming pool, making it a bit challenging to swim laps.

The pool itself is about the width of three standard swimming lanes, roughly 82 by 23 feet. I really wished they had at least one lane marked off. With people constantly swimming back and forth, I felt like I had to be extra careful to avoid collisions, especially with kids playing around. Honestly, if you're a serious swimmer, the DoubleTree by Hilton Pangyo pool was a much better experience.

When booking, the pool details stated a capacity of 100 people, a water temperature of around 84°F, a depth of about 4.3 feet, and dimensions of approximately 82 by 23 feet. I actually expected the water to be warmer, but it felt similar to a training pool and was a bit chilly for just leisure swimming.

There's also a dry sauna available, which is great for warming up. But, as we all know, once you step into the sauna, your swim session is pretty much over! We just popped in for about five minutes at the end to check it out.
Overall, the water quality seemed a bit questionable, and the whole area felt quite chaotic. We only ended up using the pool for about 30 minutes, which was a shame since the pool was the main reason for our visit. If you're a true swim enthusiast, I'd definitely recommend the DoubleTree for a better experience!
Yes, the adult pool at Nine Tree Premier Hotel Pangyo is accessible only to individuals 140cm or taller. Swimsuits and swimming caps are mandatory, and personal water play equipment is not permitted.
The Nine Tree Premier Hotel Pangyo's swimming pool is located on the 11th floor. There is a dedicated elevator for the pool at the end of the guest room corridor, making it convenient to access.
The adult pool is 1.3m deep, 25m long, and 7m wide, with a capacity for 100 people. The water temperature is maintained at approximately 29 degrees Celsius, and a dry sauna is also available for use.
Swimsuits and swimming caps are essential items to bring. If you do not have a swimming cap, you can purchase one at the pool entrance. Please note that the shoe lockers do not have locks.
