Mrs Sippy Bali Seminyak: The Ultimate Pool Club Walk-In Review

Planning a trip to Bali? You definitely have to hit up at least one beach club. While most people flock to Potato Head, I decided to go for a last-minute walk-in at Mrs Sippy Bali in Seminyak without any reservation. Unlike some other spots, there is an entry fee here, and it doesn't include a free drink. Let me share my honest walk-in experience, costs, and tips with you!

Mrs Sippy Seminyak: The Vibe

Location: Heart of Seminyak (tucked away in a quiet alley)
🕒 Hours: 10:00 AM ~ 9:00 PM

Since it's located right in downtown Seminyak, the accessibility is top-notch. However, keep in mind that it's not directly on the beachfront. Instead, it operates as a massive pool club with an epic diving board.
Because of this layout, it is widely loved as a vibrant day club rather than a sunset-viewing spot.
The moment you step inside, you'll love the atmosphere:
✔️ Bright, refreshing, and tropical energy
✔️ Colorful, lively, yet surprisingly relaxed during the day

They have convenient outdoor showers, but please note that using shampoo or body wash is not allowed here.

The changing rooms are clean and well-maintained. Pro-tip: Wear your swimsuit under your clothes to save time!

There are also secure lockers available to store your valuables while you swim.
Entrance Fee & Happy Hour Menu

The entrance fee is 100,000 IDR (approx. ~$6) per person, which you pay immediately upon arrival.
One important thing to note is that the entry fee does not include any drinks or towels. It is strictly an admission fee. Also, you cannot bring your own towels inside; security will hold them for you at the gate. Outside water bottles are also confiscated at security.

Towel rental fee: 50,000 IDR (approx. ~$3)
By comparison, places like Potato Head Beach Club in Seminyak use their entry fee as food and beverage credit, which makes Mrs Sippy's pure admission fee feel a bit steep.

Daybeds and cabanas range from 750,000 IDR to 3,000,000 IDR (approx. ~$48 to ~$192). This amount acts as a minimum spend, meaning you can use the entire credit on food and drinks. The larger daybeds start at 2,500,000 IDR (approx. ~$160), which is great value for families, groups, or those planning to spend the whole day.

Here is the Mrs Sippy menu. They are highly rated for their wood-fired pizzas, and the prices are surprisingly reasonable!

Happy hour deals vary depending on the day of the week, but they usually run between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM. Make sure to take advantage of their cocktail promotions!
Walk-In Options: Finding Free Seating

During my Bali trip, I visited all the major beach clubs as a walk-in without reservations. Since Bali is so famous for its sunsets, visiting these beach clubs during the daytime is actually much more relaxed and uncrowded.

Once you pay the entrance fee, the staff will guide you to the free seating area. It's shaded by umbrellas, keeping you nice and cool.
Honest Review & Walk-In Experience

I walked in during the afternoon after having lunch. I skipped ordering food and just spent about 3 hours swimming, relaxing, and soaking up the sun.

Since there's no direct ocean view, it doesn't give you that classic sunset beach club vibe. Instead, it's perfect for enjoying a lively pool party atmosphere during the day.

You don't need a daybed to have a great time. A simple walk-in entry is more than enough, especially if you only plan to stay for a few hours. There's no need to shell out big bucks for premium seating unless you're staying all day.

Plus, the pool floats and tubes are free to use! Floating lazily on the water was incredibly relaxing and peaceful.
