Why I Chose Mokoko House in LA
Mokoko House is
located on the west side of LA's Koreatown, right on the border of Beverly Hills.

Best of all, it's run directly by a friendly Korean host,
so there are absolutely no language barriers from check-in to asking for help.
Plus, with a stellar rating of 4.99, I knew I could trust this place

Once the booking was confirmed, the host sent over the address
and self-check-in instructions via KakaoTalk.

As soon as you enter the door code and step inside,
you're greeted by a clean, modern white-toned interior.

The bed was so plush and cozy that I fell asleep the second I laid down.
The room was also incredibly spacious—
we could easily open four 28-inch suitcases and still have plenty of room to walk around.

It was so convenient to have a vanity, a full-length mirror, a hair dryer, cotton pads, cotton swabs,
and even Korean power outlets ready for us.

The closet was also very spacious, making it easy to organize all of our clothes.

The bathroom was sparkling clean with a separate shower area.
We had a minor issue with the showerhead late at night,
but the host came over right away to fix it for us!

For amenities,
shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hand wash are all provided.

There were also plenty of towels and toilet paper stocked,
so we didn't experience a single inconvenience.

Breakfast & Late-Night Snacks
Cooking isn't allowed, but
the breakfast and late-night snack services were absolutely amazing.
✅ Available 24/7
Yogurt, toast, coffee, juice, milk, cereal, and cup ramen

Mococo House Breakfast
For breakfast, a different menu—ranging from Korean, Western, to Korean street food—is prepared daily.
(Except Wednesdays and Sundays)

They pack them nicely into lunchboxes, making it super easy to grab and go for the day,
or you can store them in the fridge to eat as a late-night snack.

But the real highlight was definitely the late-night snack party held every three days!
They were so generous with meat, veggies, and even soju and beer.

Mococo House Late-Night Snacks

I still can't get over how delicious the melon tasted that night...

The doenjang-jjigae (soybean paste stew) and kimchi tasted so authentically Korean, I was deeply moved...
Hanging out with everyone in that cozy Korean street-stall (pojangmacha) vibe
made for such a special and memorable time.

Luggage Storage & Other Services
Free luggage storage is available even after checkout,
and they even offer a service that delivers your bags directly to your next destination!
I opted for the airport pickup service ($90),
and they were waiting for me right as I arrived,
and even carried my bags straight to my room, which was incredibly convenient.

LA Korean Guesthouse Luggage Storage
Even when I needed to store my luggage mid-trip due to my tour schedule,
they stored it for free,
and since there's CCTV in the garage, I felt completely secure leaving it there.

For those who haven't planned out their trip yet,
the host will even help you put together an itinerary, which is such a reassuring touch!

Final Thoughts
If you're trying to figure out where to stay in LA, I highly recommend Mococo House.
Not only is it safe and clean,
but the breakfast and late-night snacks will save you a ton on food costs,
and you can even find travel buddies by hanging out with fellow travelers, making it—
I was even able to save a lot on Uber rides.
I met some truly wonderful people here and had an amazing time,
so if you're looking for a cozy Korean guesthouse in LA,
I highly recommend the Mokoko House Couple Room!
