Hello! On my latest trip to Bohol,

I discovered another absolutely wonderful place to stay.

Located in Panglao, it's incredibly budget-friendly,

and the service was top-notch! Here is my honest review of the Lotus Hotel.

There are quite a few cafes and restaurants within walking distance,

and there's a fresh mango fruit stand nearby!

I bought some mangoes here,

and they were both cheap and delicious.

It was about ~$6 for 4 of them.

They slice them up a bit roughly,

but they were perfectly fine to eat haha 🥭

Lobby

The moment I stepped inside,

I was so touched by the friendliness of the staff.

Thanks to their warm smiles,

I felt great starting right from check-in. :)

And here's a great pro-tip!

They sell Japanese cup noodles in the lobby at very cheap prices.

It's perfect for when you're hungry after swimming

or when you're just too lazy to go out and want a quick bite!

​

Since I had a late-night flight back home,

I had a quick dinner here.

Since they were Japanese noodles, the taste was guaranteed,

and they were so cheap

that there's really no need to pack your own cup noodles.

Pool

​

You can see the pool right from the lobby,

and it was absolutely beautiful.

​

At around 1.2 meters, it's not very deep, but it's spacious,

making it perfect for a fun swim.

In the afternoon, it gets a bit of shade

while the sun shines in just warmly enough,

making it a great time to splash around.

Feeling sad that it was my last day, I took one final swim,

and an hour just flew by.

It was the perfect way

to wrap up a totally regret-free trip! haha

Room Condition (Highly Recommended for a 0.5-Night Stay!)

Most of all, it nails the essentials of a good hotel.

✅ Air Conditioning

It works incredibly well!

No matter how hot it is outside, the room is pure paradise.

I was extremely satisfied.

It’ll have you drifting off to sleep in no time.

✅ Shower Facilities

The water pressure was amazing and the facilities were super clean,

making it the perfect place to wash off and fully unwind.

​

Plus, there’s a drying rack on the terrace,

and a water dispenser with hot and cold water in the lobby.

They literally thought of everything!

Honestly, for this price and quality...

I highly recommend it as a half-day stay (0.5-day stay)

for your first or last day in Bohol!

Our room was on the second floor, but they kindly carried our bags up for us.

Even the hallway leading up to the room was so pretty

that we couldn't stop saying "Wow, look at this!" as we walked in.

The interior design style is absolutely on point! haha

Seamless Checkout

We checked out at midnight on our last day,

and the checkout process was incredibly smooth.

Everything was handled so efficiently,

and they even gifted us a souvenir magnet when we left!

Ending our trip on such a sweet note was the best. 👍

For the ride to the airport, we used the Klook drop-off service.

Bohol is so convenient because it only takes

about 10 minutes by car from downtown Panglao to the airport.

It's super close!
