🚗 Pretty close to Wat Pho and Khaosan Road!
🛺 3.4 km from Yommarat Railway Station (approx. 9 mins by car)
It's located within walking distance to Khaosan Road.
It's a bit far from RCA, but hey, when you've cut your accommodation costs by 90%,
you can definitely afford to spend a little extra on taxis! Haha 😆

I arrived on the weekend so I didn't notice at first, but on weekdays, the surrounding area is super lively and bustling with a local market and vendors.
With a convenience store and the market right next door, grabbing street food or snacks was incredibly easy.
Plus, it's not a party neighborhood where people drink late into the night, so it was nice and quiet.
Oh, and there was a local restaurant and a cozy local wine bar right next to the hostel, which was awesome.
I really wanted to try out that wine bar,
but I couldn't squeeze it into this trip. A bit bummed about that!
There's a bus stop right in front, so trying out the local bus is highly recommended!
I actually rode it once, and it was so thrilling, super fast, and fun.
While it's easy to hail taxis or Grabs in Bangkok,
the traffic can be brutal. So if you're on a schedule or going somewhere more than 30 minutes away,
taking public transit will save you an absolute ton of time.
💸 Accommodation Rates (Dormitory Room Basis)
• ✔️ Female-only dormitory (4 beds)
• ✔️ ~$10 per night (A whopping 60% off from the regular price of ~$32!)
• ✔️ Equipped with personal privacy curtains, lockers, and power outlets
Honestly, this level of quality for this price is insane!
🛏️ Interior & Facilities Review (Based on my actual stay)
The place was just like the photos—bright, fresh, and beautifully decorated.
While choosing hotels in Bangkok, I was actually surprised to find that accommodations weren't as cheap as I expected.
Many hotels in Bangkok had rooms as small as those in Korea, but with slightly worse facilities. I felt like spending in the mediocre ~$64 range
would leave me unsatisfied because it's neither here nor there.
So, I decided to splurge around ~$256 on the last day at a resort-style hotel with a Pattaya-like pool,
and for the rest of the trip, I thought: why not look for a guesthouse or hostel, just like I used to do in Europe?
And guess what...

I can't believe I found such an amazing hostel/dormitory in Bangkok!
Pure happiness 🖤🖤
The other places on my shortlist
either turned off the A/C during the day (meaning it'd be boiling hot!) or had awkward locations...
But Lost Inn BKK (Lost INN Bangkok) was
exactly what I wanted: clean, aesthetically pleasing, great room conditions,
and super budget-friendly to boot!
The location was also pretty great.

✔️ Spacious and Bright Dormitory Rooms
• Large windows letting in tons of natural sunlight 🌞
• Every single bed has its own curtain, outlet, and reading light
• Step-style bunks for extra privacy (no awkward ladders!)
The female dormitory sleeps 4, and it's not your typical squeaky bunk bed with a sketchy ladder.
It has a sturdy, built-in staircase structure like in the photo, so even if you get the top bunk,
it’s super comfortable and easy to get up and down.
Since the early birds had already taken the bottom bunks,
I was told to just take any open bed. The owner was so cool and laid-back...
I think he might have been a Japanese expat living in Bangkok (?)

Plus, because it’s a 4-bed room,
it felt incredibly spacious. With those massive windows,
there was none of that stuffy hostel vibe—just a wonderful, airy sense of openness.
And no need to worry about the big windows waking you up early; the blackout curtains are super thick and do an amazing job!
You can store your luggage in your personal locker or the space right next to the door.
It was so convenient to open and close my suitcase whenever I needed to grab something.
Honestly, seeing that the room was just as gorgeous as the photos made me so happy.
✔️ Relaxing Common Areas
• Squeaky clean 1st floor
• Cozy beanbags and tables in the lobby lounge
• Spacious and quiet shared spaces—perfect for unwinding
You can grab some drinks or food and hang out in the 1st-floor common area.
For things that don't have too strong of an odor (like mandarins, oranges, or even pizza), you can keep them on top of your room cabinet
and bring them down to the lounge when you're ready to eat!
The tables are wide, making it a great spot to get some work done, read a book, or plan your itinerary for the day.

Also, there are bathrooms and shower facilities on every floor with 4–5 individual rooms, and each shower room has about 4 shower stalls,
which made getting ready super convenient with no waiting around.
Best of all, they are completely separate from the sleeping quarters,
so you can shower and get ready without worrying about waking up your roommates. Hairdryers are provided inside the shower area too!

Every single corner of this place is so charming and artistic,
yet impressively clean. It felt like a whole army of staff swept through every morning to make everything sparkle.
The bed sheets were pure white and absolutely spotless...
It doesn’t feel like a brand-new building—judging by the hairdryers, the property has some history to it—
but because they maintain it so flawlessly, it was genuinely touching.

This was the common area on the 2nd floor,
which I had already fallen in love with when looking at photos online.
It’s super pretty, though I'm not entirely sure what its main purpose is, haha.
Either way, it's just as gorgeous in real life!

✔️ Safe and Secure for Solo Female Travelers
• Women-only dorms mean peace of mind
• Highly recommended for solo travelers in Bangkok
Let’s be real—traveling solo means you don’t have a buddy to split hotel costs with...
And since you'll be out exploring all day anyway, spending a fortune on accommodation feels like a waste.
But at the same time, safety is non-negotiable!
This Bangkok stay checked literally every single box, which made me so happy.
While I stayed in the dormitory section of Lost Inn Bkk, they actually offer hotel-style rooms too.
They have private 4-person rooms as well as standard 1-2 person private rooms!
