the absolute highlight is Lecce,

which is home to an incredible concentration of

intricate Baroque churches.

Buying individual tickets for all of these main attractions

can be both a hassle and quite expensive.

That's where this ultimate saver comes in handy:

It saved me so much time and money during my trip,

so I can't wait to share all the details with you!

1. Lecce City Pass: Basic Info

The Lecce City Pass is

a fantastic combo ticket that bundles entry to

four beautiful churches and one museum in Lecce.

To purchase your tickets,

you can visit the ticket office in Piazza del Duomo

or easily buy them online via the

official website.

Personally, I really wanted a physical paper ticket as a keepsake,

so I went in person to buy it

and opted for the Reduced Ticket, which excludes the Bell Tower.

Make sure not to go to the information center with the red sign!

The ticket office is located on the first floor of the Old Seminary Museum,

so keep an eye out so you don't miss it.

Right after getting your ticket,

it's the perfect time to explore

the Old Seminary Museum itself!

Please keep in mind that even during regular hours,

entry to the churches may be restricted

if there is an ongoing mass or active service.

I highly recommend checking the schedules on the

official website before you head out to coordinate your itinerary smoothly.

2. 5 Must-See Attractions Included in the City Pass

💜 Lecce Cathedral (Duomo di Lecce) 💜

The very moment you step into

Piazza del Duomo, you'll be absolutely struck by its sheer grandeur!

With this pass, you don't just get to see the stunning cathedral interior—

it also grants you access to the mysterious Crypt underneath.

Plus, if you climb to the top of the Bell Tower,

you'll be treated to a breathtaking panoramic view of all of Lecce!

💜 Santa Croce Basilica 💜

This place is widely known as the

ultimate masterpiece of Lecce Baroque.

Staring at the incredibly intricate carvings

sculpted onto the facade, you can't help but wonder

if this was actually made by human hands—

it's absolutely awe-inspiring.

If you visit at night, you can admire

the gorgeous cathedral illuminated in all its glory.

💜 Santa Chiara Church 💜

This church features a unique

octagonal ceiling that is incredibly impressive.

While it is smaller than some of the other spots,

it's filled with delicate and detailed decorations

giving it a beautifully graceful and elegant vibe.

💜 San Matteo Church 💜

(Chiesa di San Matteo)

It is famous for its striking exterior

featuring a beautiful harmony of convex and concave curves.

It has a similar feel to Rome’s

San Carlo alle Quattro Fontane church,

and the statues of the 12 Apostles inside

are absolutely stunning, so don't miss them.

💜 The Ancient Seminary Museum 💜

This museum is tucked away on one side of Piazza del Duomo.

Here, you can admire Lecce’s religious artifacts

and gorgeous paintings.

The building itself is so stunning that just relaxing

in the museum’s courtyard is supposed to be incredibly healing...

but unfortunately, it was closed for renovations on the day we visited! 😭

3. How to Make the Most of Your City Pass

This pass is valid for an incredible

15 days from the date of issue.

Unlike most city passes that pressure you

to squeeze everything into 24 or 48 hours,

the Lecce pass lets you take things completely at your own pace.

The best part is that you can explore slowly,

matching your itinerary to your energy levels and the weather.

To enter, simply present your ticket to the staff

at the entrance to have your QR code scanned.

Keep in mind that while the pass is valid for 15 days,

you can only enter each site once.

So make sure to take your time and fully soak in the beauty

before heading out!

The receipt you receive with your ticket

contains another QR code.

You can scan this QR code on your phone

to listen to an audio guide, so

don't forget to pack your earphones!
