As many of you know, football superstar Son Heung-min made headlines when he left Tottenham to join LAFC in Major League Soccer last August 2025. This news broke just before my trip, instantly making the BMO Stadium a must-visit LA landmark. Join me as I share my experience at the stadium and my review of purchasing a Son Heung-min jersey!

You can grab your LAFC jersey either online or at the official team store located inside BMO Stadium. I opted for the in-person experience at the stadium store.
On my first attempt, the store was closed due to an ENHYPEN concert happening at the stadium. (Though I did spot some concert staff making purchases... bummer for me! 😓)
Feeling a bit disappointed, I still managed to snap a pic in front of a cool Son Heung-min display!
My second visit was timed for opening hours, but I'd heard whispers of jersey shortages, so my expectations weren't sky-high.
Right as you walk into the store, Son Heung-min's jerseys are prominently displayed!
Beyond the home and authentic jerseys, you'll find a fantastic selection of other merchandise like tank tops, t-shirts, hats, and zip-ups. It's a blast just browsing through all the cool gear!

After purchase, take your receipt to the adjacent booth for jersey customization. Unfortunately, the English 'SON' marking was sold out, with only Korean name marking available.
The marking process takes about 30 minutes, and you can pick up your completed jersey by presenting your receipt.

I ended up buying both the Home (Black/Gold) Replica and the Away (White/Gold) Authentic jerseys. Once I tried them on, the differences in material and fit were immediately clear.
If I had to pick, I'd definitely recommend splurging a bit more for the authentic version – the satisfaction level is much higher! For reference, I'm 5 feet 4 inches tall and wore a men's size L. I had grand plans to wear them to Disneyland, but they're still waiting in my closet...
