Hanoi Accommodation Location Guide
When planning a trip to Hanoi, most travelers choose to stay around Hoan Kiem Lake or the Old Quarter. This area serves as the beating heart of the city, where you can easily access the famous Ta Hien Beer Street, vibrant night markets, local performances, and endless street food options.

While some visitors prefer the quieter, expat-heavy vibes of West Lake or the modern Korean district in My Dinh, staying in the Old Quarter is the quintessential Hanoi experience. It is simply the best base for exploring the city, and the hotel we are looking at today sits perfectly right in the middle of it all.
La Siesta Classic Ma May: A Hidden Gem in Hanoi

Upon arrival, we were welcomed with a refreshing herbal tea. Since we arrived slightly before the official check-in time, we left our bags and headed out for a quick stroll. When we returned, we received the ultimate surprise: a complimentary upgrade from our booked Executive Room to a gorgeous top-floor Suite!
Walking into the room, we were instantly greeted by panoramic city views and a massive, plush king bed. Since this was the final night of our Hanoi itinerary, it felt like the perfect grand finale.

Stunning City Views
The suite features a lovely private balcony. Stepping outside, you can see the entire bustling cityscape of Hanoi stretching out before you.

Even if you don't step out onto the balcony, the floor-to-ceiling windows offer an incredible 180-degree view right from the comfort of your bed.

The layout is exceptionally smart, with the toilet and bathroom separated. Premium amenities are neatly tucked under the vanity, and the main bathroom features a deep soaking tub alongside a separate walk-in shower area. It feels luxurious, cozy, and highly functional.

The room takes on an entirely different, romantic atmosphere once night falls and the city lights turn on.

The Highlight: Rooftop Sky Bar Experience

Honestly, we planned this entire Hanoi trip around finding the best rooftop sky bars, and this one was easily our favorite. In fact, the sky bar alone is a reason to book your stay here. It has a fantastic atmosphere, plenty of space, and a multi-level terrace design with seating that climbs even higher for better views.

We stopped by for a quick mocktail and a cold local beer to soak in the evening breeze before heading out for dinner.
A Gourmet Start: Breakfast Buffet Review

While most hotels in Hanoi serve breakfast from 6:30 AM to 9:30 AM, La Siesta extends theirs until 10:00 AM. This extra half-hour is a game-changer for those who prefer a slow, relaxed morning.

The buffet is beautifully presented, offering everything from imported cheeses and freshly baked pastries to tropical fruits. However, the highlight is definitely the live cooking station.

Along with authentic, steaming bowls of Vietnamese Pho, you can order Western breakfast favorites like Eggs Benedict made fresh to order. I usually skip breakfast when traveling, but the food here was too good to pass up.

And, of course, you can't leave without trying their delicious local yogurt!
