One of the absolute highlights I'm most excited about for my LA trip is a visit to Disneyland Park.
The first step, of course, is securing your 'tickets'. Nowadays, you're not just limited to the official website. Platforms like Klook and Waug also offer tickets, making you wonder where to snag the best deal, right?
After comparing several platforms, I decided to book through Waug. I'll share why, along with a step-by-step guide on how to register your official tickets and complete your park reservation!

Introduction to LA Disneyland Park
- Location: Anaheim, California
- Unique Features: The original Disneyland Park, first opened in 1955. It's the only Disney park Walt Disney himself directly designed and participated in constructing.
- What's Inside: Disneyland Park / Disney California Adventure Park. You can choose to visit just one park, or get a Park Hopper ticket to experience both in a single day.
Comparing Disneyland Ticket Purchase Platforms
You can typically buy tickets either from the official Disneyland website or through various travel ticket platforms.
💡I booked my tickets through Waug because, at the time of my comparison, it offered the best price for a 1-Park ticket. However, my plans changed, and I ended up needing a 2-Park Hopper ticket. I'll detail the upgrade process in an upcoming post!

LA Disneyland Park Tiers Explained
Disneyland tickets are categorized into six different tiers. The higher the tier, the higher the price. The specific tier applied to your ticket depends on the season, day of the week, and whether it's a peak period for your chosen visit date.
Tier 0 is the most affordable, while Tier 6 represents peak season pricing.
A Universal Rule:
Official Ticket Registration & Park Reservation is a Must
Simply buying a Disneyland ticket isn't the final step! You must register your ticket on the official website (or app) and reserve your visit date to gain entry.
💡Keep in mind: If you don't make a prior reservation, you might be denied entry at the gate, so double-check this crucial step!
How to Register Your Tickets & Make Park Reservations
1. Download the official Disneyland App
2. Sign Up for an Account
✅ If you're visiting with family or friends, the lead person can register multiple tickets under one account.
3. Navigate to the bottom menu (☰) → My Disneyland & Passes
4. Register your voucher under 'Link Tickets & Passes'
5. Click the '+' button at the bottom center of the home screen. Then, select 'Make a Park Reservation'.
6. Select 'Make or Modify Park Reservations' → then 'Book Theme Park Reservation'
7. Click on your ticket(s) and then 'Continue'. Select your desired date and the park you wish to visit.
✅ For Park Hopper tickets, select your "first park to visit." You can then freely move between parks after 11:00 AM.
Disneyland Park is an absolute must-do for any LA trip! Knowing it's the oldest and the only one personally designed by Walt Disney himself makes me incredibly excited for my visit.
